Who likes video games?

I bought Rage for the PS3 the other day. I think it is the first Bethesda game I have played that doesn't have gamebreaking bugs in it. At least I haven't found any yet.
 
Haven't played any games in several years but used to be addicted to GTA: Vice City and Battlefield II on the PS2. At one point I was actually ranked #3 in the world for choppers (helicopters) destroyed on the PS2 servers, and was also in the top 30 in assault kit kills. Funny too because even back in those days, I've always been a pacifist. (In real life, anyway.)

Also played Area 51 on the PS2. That one had great online multiplayer gamplay as well.
 
So, after the E3 conferences for both Microsoft and Sony, what are you guys going to get, if anything?

Microsoft won't be having my business for this console generation. An always on Kinect and the draconian DRM are some of the reasons why I'm not touching the Xbone.

Might get a Wii U sometimes later. Not this year, though. PC and PS 4 for me.

Yeah - the more I hear/read/see about Xbone - count me OUT! PS4 looks good (background downloads and updates is a huge improvement over PS3 - that and the controller were really my only 2 gripes about PS3).. And if Nintendo comes out with an Animal Crossing for the Wii U, then I'll get that. I just don't see any exclusives on Xbox that would make me want to put myself through all the drama that comes with it.
 
i haven't had a console since SNES.
i emulate every console up to ps2, including wii on my pc.
i don't see why anyone would want this next generation of consoles, they seem like spying devices.
 
PS4 was definitely the better console at E3. The end of the Sony Conference was really just great when Jack Tretton was just laying it out on M$. The only thing on M$ side that I want is Dead Rising 3, and i'm expecting that to go to another platform eventually anyways.

Destiny looked amazing, but I would expect that with Bungie. There is going to be a ton of world building that will really immerse the player.

The Division was probably the biggest surprise at E3. Awesome graphics pushed along its multiplayer and an open world really makes for an intriguing title.

I didn't see anything from Nintendo that makes me want to get any of their systems. The new Pokemon doesn't look very good and might just be the first main Pokemon generation i've ever skipped. It just looks so dull.

Titanfall looks kind of meh and uninspired.
 
Destiny is definitely a title that I'll be picking up once it's out for the PS 4. The Division might be another; it does look pretty neat.

While it was just a CG trailer, I'm a bit interested in The Order: 1886.

I'm definitely picking up Watch Dogs, but for PC.
 
gotta say that I liked Bioshock 1 and 2 better than 3. From what I gather from the BS3 reviews, what I just said is crazy talk.
 
I used to play a lot in elementary, middle, and high school, but I kind of stopped after that. I have a Gamecube, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, and a Wii (my brother says I'm not a legit gamer because I'm a "Nintendo Fangirl".) :p Sometimes I'll play Wii with the kids I babysit, but that's about it.

My wife's a huge Animal Crossing fan, so we have to have all these systems just to support her addiction! You know what these systems are and aren't afraid to admit it, I think that gives you legit gamer cred! :) The Wii is great for get togethers - the Mario Party games, the new Super Mario Bros, and even Monopoly are favorites when we have people over.

I rented this and played a few hours tonight. So far, I'm not so impressed. It's been just like kind of a slow moving movie that you get to direct-somewhat. But I'm still not out of the phase where Tutorials pop-up, so maybe once I'm out of Tutorial phase, and into the real game, it will pick up!
