Technical systems could direct what may seem like private information to other individuals, for example, when you use your Mailbox to send a message to an individual, that individual could configure the system such that your message send an e-mail notification to the user with your message. That message is then sent outside of the site where it is beyond the control of the site staff. The mail message could further be bounced and returned to our site for technical administration, the contents of the message would then be viewable to the technical administrator. The site administrators could also have to process messages for other technical and legal reasons as well as to ward off attacks from entities abusing the site systems. It is also possible that the site experiences a security breach in which an unauthorized individual gains administrator access to the sites databases, while the site staff takes such security very seriously, there are not full proof systems.
