What Elon Musk Really Wants

If that happens it's game over. It doesn't matter whether or not you sign up for one. If another people sign up for a chip that some other person can use to send signals into that person's brain, it's game over. You're concerned about whether or not the military will take orders to shoot at Americans? I bet cyborgs will obey the command.

I wouldn't worry about that, we'll get destroyed by armies of sentient robots before cyborg technology really becomes an issue.

But really, we don't have to worry about that ^ either, cus we're all gonna be dead within the next 5-20 years (optimistically) by a man-made global super virus.

And at least that ^ doomsday scenario isn't gonna be Elon's fault lol

True. That would be Bill Gates. Anyway, I remember Tucker Carlson on Joe Rogan earlier this year concerned about an AI takeover and saying that maybe we should nuke the data centers and when Rogan laughed he said "No I'm serious." Meanwhile Elon is trying to build a new AI data center in Memphis TN.

They all are.

Microsquash bought Three Mile Island and is restarting the nuke plant to power an AI megasystem in PA.

Screwgle is doing the same thing in CA.

Amazon is building nuke plants in PA as well, for AI power.

I agree with Tucker.

Nuke them from orbit, along with every level 4 bio lab.

One of these two technologies is going to be the end mankind as we know it.

No.

"How is creating a more Randian society a bad thing?"

I have avoided reading Ayn Rand because frankly I don't like her. She was a rabid Zionist who benefited from her own brand of identity politics. (She was given a cushy job in Jewish run Hollywood when she came to America yet she talked about everybody being individualists). And she tried to get Murray Rothbard to divorce his wife. That said, my understanding from everybody else talking about books like Atlas Shrugged is the society she painted was horrible, just like George Orwell's 1984 and Animal Farm, because she was warning against becoming like that. I know you're thinking about "Galt's Gulch" but that's where people went to get away from the rest of Randian society.

I read that "New Republic" article. It's the worst [b[article[/b] ever written. Nowhere in the article did the author ever explain what she (if that's the pronoun this pink haired lady uses) didn't like about Rogan. She did point out a few times when Rogan was critical of Trump, which you would think would make her like Rogan.

She was not warning against becoming it, she was fantasizing about it. As a Soviet expat Jew in the Stalin purge years, she had a deep hatred for anything communal in approach, and that hatred was embraced by the CIA and the American red scare of the burgeoning Cold War. She was a product of her times and peer group.
