Trump: "We'll have to take a look" at the prospect of deporting Elon Musk

I.E. more pointless votes for him the do what he loves, grandstand and ask for campaign contributions.

I enjoy his grandstands. I'm not sure if he's first rate but definitely 2nd rate grandstander

Trump HATES anyone who is fiscally responsible & vocal.

It’s that simple.

You think those 12 men got to the moon all on their own?
They got there standing on the shoulders of giants.
Oh yes, I realize that. Yet they did not go to the moon. Only 12 men went to the moon. Words have meaning.
And of those giants you talk about - when you trace back through history of those giants, most were not US citizens ... including the one who originated the phrase ("standing on the shoulders of giants") you used (apples anyone?).

So Rand is fine with the bill but instead of 1 vote to raise the debt ceiling, he wants 10 votes over the next few years to raise the debt ceiling, when he knows it will be raised every time or the USA defaults. I.E. more pointless votes for him the do what he loves, grandstand and ask for campaign contributions.

Maybe its good to make sure the government doesnt waste taxpayers money.

Our governent likes to pretend like stuff we need is wasteful though like defunding our military or using it as a jobs program.

They lie and say we dont need it because its peacetime when its the only reason why we are safe from being attacked.

They do this in dictatorships a lot and their military machines suffer because of it and their people die from this corruption.

Rand Paul likes to be a good Shepard to defend the country from people who would do that here.

Sure they were. Who do you think the father of modern rockets was? He was American and born in Worcester Massachusetts his name was Robert H. Goddard. On his maternal side he was descended from John Hoyt and other settlers of Massachusetts in the late 1600s.

He created rockets and wrote about them in scientific literature and inspired Werner Von Braun to make rockets.

America heavily influenced the industries in democracy Germany before the Nazis took over.

America was funding the economy there to prop it up to prevent World War 2 we financed the reparations to the allies and forced an end to World War 1 when we entered it.

When Germany lost World War 1 they looked towards the giant that the United States was and overthrew their monarchy because we inspired them.

We had to cancel our rocket program because we were financing all of that bad debt and couldnt afford it after the end of World War 1.

No way Trump actually does this. He's just doing his typical trolling and leftists easily fall for it.

Screw Elon.

"The administration’s efforts to compile data began under Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative, which sought Americans’ personal data from multiple agencies including the IRS, the SSA, Selective Service, Medicare, and many others."

To clarify: I'm not "Team Elon", either -- it's just emblematic of how DOA 47 really is. AFAICT, MAGA has been coopted, just like happened to the Tea Party. Swamp gonna Swamp...

Trump says will ‘take a look’ at deporting Musk

1 Jul 2025

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday he could consider deporting Elon Musk, after the South African-born billionaire slammed his flagship spending bill.

Trump also said the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — which Musk headed before stepping down late May — may train its sights on the Tesla and SpaceX founder’s government subsidies.

“I don’t know. We’ll have to take a look,” Trump told reporters at the White House when asked if he would consider deporting Musk.

“We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon.”

Trump doubled down on the threat when he said he believed Musk was attacking his so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” because he was annoyed that it had dropped measures to support electric vehicles (EV).

“He’s losing his EV mandate. He’s very upset about things, but you know, he could lose a lot more than that, I can tell you right now. Elon can lose a lot more than that.”

Trump made similar comments on his Truth Social network late Monday, saying that “without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa.”

Musk, the world’s richest person, was Trump’s biggest donor in the 2024 election and initially maintained a near constant presence at the newly elected president’s side.

They had an acrimonious public falling out this month over the bill and the tycoon has reprised his criticisms in recent days, accusing Republicans of abandoning efforts to place the United States at the front of the EV and clean energy revolution.

Musk has also renewed his calls for the formation of a new political party called the “America Party” if the bill passed.
