I will start by stating that I've not watched the interview because bosswife just got in and is asleep and I don't yet wish to die.

Proceeding, I find Musk odd. On the one hand, he's clearly intelligent and smart. On the other, I can recall him making some remarks that left me wondering what on earth is he really about.

For example, Tesla. Talk about scams, holy God... On the other hand, if people are stupid enough to buy into the steaming pile that is the electric car, and Musk used that scam to generate the tons of capital to finance Space-X, well then let the chips fall where they may.

I must, however, confess my wary suspicions of any and all former Democrats/lefties who claim to have seen a light and to have come to it. The basic mentality of such people speaks of deep damage brought on by God only knows what. The basic personality is one of the Unicorn Idealist who lives in a normative fantasy which can only be validly described as deeply psychotic. Or they are of the parasite class seeking to enrich themselves on the backs of others for any of a host of possible reasons, none of them good.

These are the sorts of people who move from California to Idaho, only to make every effort to turn their new home into the old once they get there. In other words, they cannot be trusted to the door. They may be idiots and/or moral corrupts, but somewhere deep in their brain stem rests the single epsilon of sense that tells them the need to move away from whatever opinions they hold for the sake of immediate survival. But in time they just cannot quite turn their backs to their once cherished world views, and are thereby prompted to revert to their old ways of thought and behavior precisely because their souls are rotted with corruption and raw, rank stupidity, greed, lassitude, etc. They want what they want, cannot ever quite accept that it represents just how low and reprehensible they are as living beings, and like the criminal who dodges a legal bullet and who behaves awhile in the aftermath, they inevitably revert to their old ways.

This is why I cannot bring myself to trust the likes of Musk, Gabbard. RFK, and so on. Get them into their comfort zone and the next thing you know they start nudging. When sworn philosophical enemies are suddenly saying they want to rock your willie, be at least suspicious.

Which again leads to the question of why these blatant errors? Is left-leaning psychosis this far gone? Perhaps, but I'd not assume it. The strategy here may be oblique and if it were to prove out, I'd not be surprised.

Give the election to Trump, who inherits massive shyte-pile, then blame him in the hope of evading culpability. Claim Trump stole the election, directing more false blame. Trump is actually one of Themme (unlikely, but this is politics), is cemented into place and supported by a cult of personality, who then proceeds to go back on everything he promised and hammers America's lid shut. I give that latter one very low probability, but again this is politics and no rotten possibility can be dismissed out of hand. What decent human being would have believed the Pizzagate deal?

We won't know until we know.

World gone mad.

Good interview. About a half hour in.

Musk basically talks about why he is going "all in". Ill advised for a business person to get (openly) involved like Musk has, but he believes that if Kamala wins, we are a one party nation for the long haul.

Fantastic interview! Such a down to earth, savvy, calm, cool and collective human being that Elon Musk is! He is so lovable! "If Trump Loses, This Is the Last Election! I'm All In!" :tears:

Elon: "Do you really think the Biden Administration is going to subsidize me?"

Sure. Instead of eliminating agencies, just hire the actual owner of the company instead of sending time-consuming lobbyists in. More efficiency, the more rapidly things get rolled out.

I'll stick with Mises.org where they call Trump out for what he is: "Bait and Switch", and Ron Paul who said: "Trump is not my favorite president."

Oh, and Elon said to visit America-PAC and let him know what you disagree with. Well, I did, but other than a donation page, the entire site is blank.
