So far the recount is showing discrepancies

I used to think this too JMann- but I have since changed my mind. Just the fact that there are computers counting without any way to verify is enough. There is just too much chance for a hack. Surely you have seen 'Hacking Democracy'. I don't know if it happenned in NH or not- but we HAVE got to get this right. It is ridiculous that we don't have better methods of auditing the machines and the votes. I agree there will be some votes that cannot be counted as the voter failed to follow directions. However, that should be a very minor number and we should be able to audit those sorts of discrepancies. I find it completely unacceptable to have ANY machine/recount discrepancies. Several have suggested a receipt or other paper trail. I think this should have happened years ago. We are failing ourselves.

There is one thing to say there is the potential of voter fraud and another to demonstrate there is fraud. No one in 2000 or 2004 has proven fraud. Mistakes, yes but that is different than fraud.

You guys do realize this is not accurate at all, right?

about 15,000 people voted R in manchester. These results are only showing about 500 people.

Jmann You Are An A$$$$$$

You Are Getting Sleepy Your Eyes Are Heavy There Is No Vote Fraud Everything Is Peaches And Lollipops When You Awake You Will Feel As Though You Are In A Utopia Laying In A Field Of Flowers And Bunny Rabbits

This Guy Needs To Be Pulled From The Matrix

Wake Up

VOTER FRAUD & VOTER DISCREPENCY are only different in the way that one is intentional and one is a mistake however they are both equal in the damage they do

I think I heard of some people in OHIO going to prison----I'm not 100% sure but i have heard or read that somewhere

JMann, you don't have to be part of the "black helicopter crowd"

Simply do the research from the links that you have been provided with and listen to Ron Paul Revolution Radio now because they are talking about it.

Jmann what you do not understand is that NOBODY here believes that there is fraud to the point where RON PAUL WON

But rather have a SERIOUS problem with the integrity of the system

ALL WE WANT IS A FAIR ELECTION

Yep you would be disqualified but you family can vote. No investment no stock in the country, no vote.

I am glad that you do not run this country then.

Your views are outdated and do not make rational sense.

Let us use me as an example:
I have gone to college and graduated with a Engineering degree.
I have taken student loans and make more than my minimum payment every month, therefore I am helping the credit system in this country.
I have invested over 25k into my retirement fund in my first two years since graduation, 90% of which is in the US stock market.
I rent my house because I have not saved up enough money for a good down payment on my house. I refuse to do a 80/20 ARM loan like the rest of the people in this country that are now causing it to sink.
I stay up to date with political events and understand that Ron Paul is our best hope from becoming the third world.

But since I don't own my house I shouldn't be allowed to vote even though Johnny Tusam down the street who hasn't made a mortgage payment in 3 months and has 25k in credit card debt has the right to vote for Obama because he looks charming on the TV and doesn't understand a single issue of this election cycle?

No, you are wrong. I respect the right of every US citizen to vote over the age of 18.

Please get off your high horse.

I have seen evidence of stupid people not being able to vote properly and those votes shouldn't count.

Personally I feel that only property owners should vote, so no I don't believe in one person one vote. If you don't have an investment in the country than you should remain a surf.

And I think you should lose your vote because you can't even spell serf right while accusing others of stupidity for... using the pens they were given to vote with.

You're a class act.

Don't forget that humans are MORE likely to make counting mistakes than the machines. If there's a discrepancy, it seems like nobody here has even considered that the human counters could be off by a few votes.

The purpose of this job is to see that there was no hacking of the machines or other types of fraud. The machines will produce a more accurate count than the humans, but I still don't like them due to the hacking possibility.

If there is a discrepancy with the "human" count, they re-check and the re-check again.

The NH recount was done to improve the voting system and not to prove Ron won.

We have to fight for a fair election every step of the way.

Going forward, we should demand that all ballots have paper backups as permanent documentation for audits.

What are we going to do about the paperless voting in South Carolina and Georgia?
