Rick Santorum Santorum now claiming he is a veteran

+rep, you should emphasize better in the video that he never said "committee" maybe use different color of text?

I can attempt to change it, not sure how to make it stand out that he didn't mention it...perhaps doing a "rewind" effect on it?

It's like saying you were President, but leave out " of the Neighborhood Association "that should have followed it.

How about: Rick Santorum: a man of conviction..two DUI's, armed robbery, identity theft, sodomy, and violating a restaining order.

Santorum: another chicken hawk.

Someone should ask him what branch, unit, rank and where did he see action...

Hell. People who play Call of Duty has more military qualifications than Santorum or Newt or Romney...

Wow! I thought you meant it was spoken in the AD but to put it in print is really something.I read somewhere that a group of ex navy seals take extreme interest in those who falsely claim to have been among their number. If I had dodged bullets or been injured and seen friends maimed and killed,I wouldn't want a creep like this anywhere near commander in chief.

Let this man give his thoughts on Santorum! He really dislikes military impersonators:

Beautiful: In this video he gives his opinion of the phoney religious guys and those who profit from their lies.Funny and truth too.Profiting from the blood and bones of real soldiers.Even his SON left a comment regarding his shame of his father.

Not only Santorum:

On Saturday Newt gave a speech to veterans while standing in front of a giant WW2 tank. He didn't serve in the military himself, but he name drops everyone he knows who did serve. And by the way he talks about tanks, you would think he drove one up the streets of Hanoi himself.

I marked off a couple of clips. These are the best parts.

http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/Wolfeb/start/749/stop/829
- Newt points at the tank and says, "This brings back memories"

http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/Wolfeb/start/6585/stop/6687
- Newt discussing tank history and tank combat strategy with an old Tank commander. Tank commander talks about the tanks he trained on, and Newt says, "I remember, Im old enough to remember. I grew up with those." Then the tank commander leans in and says "my criticism of Obama was that he never put on the uniform and served" Newt then immediately turns away and says, "yea, tell me about this thing over here!"

Morning Joe is covering this ad right now and good 'ol Joe gave him a complete free ride on this deal. Now, he's pitching Santorum as a "regular guy". Considering that he has been a K street lobbyist, I think that takes him out of "regular guy" territory. But, maybe that's just me.
