Don't blame a campaign for putting something on the screen they know their audience is too lazy to research. The fact Rick Santorum is still a viable candidate should make the RP campaign embarrassed... Then again, the same can be said about MR and NG on the Republican side.

So the Ron Paul campaign should be embarrassed that the media plays into the people's heads, and through bias and misrepresentation of the Paul campaign, have surged santorum to popularity? Oh, same with MR and NG....

I agree that the way it's phrased is pretty deceptive and immoral, but it actually isn't lying. The ad says "Served 8 years on Armed services" and, indeed, he served 8 years on the armed services Committee.

No, actually it is lying. The "armed services" and the "armed services committee" are as different as black and white. Armed services (using dictionary definition) include the army, navy, marines, etc.

Well... it's like impersonation of a public servant. When I was a cop, and someone told people to do something while wearing one of those CCW shields, I could tag them for impersonation since they gave the "outward appearance" of being a peace officer since a person wearing a badge of authority was giving orders. Therefore, Mr. Frothy gave the outward appearance that he was in the military... irrespective of what his "badge" (statement) said.

I think we pretty well learned over the last 20 years that voters don't care about military service anymore anyway, when it comes to voting for president. Didn't hurt Clinton or Bush, and didn't help Kerry or McCain. And if anyone was going to get a boost from war service it would have been someone who spent over half a decade as a POW.

It only mattered to the generations that saw real wars that were "popular" for lack of a better word. Which hasn't been in 70s years. That is why Bush Sr. was the last one that was helped by military service. By 1988, there were still plenty of voters still alive that remembered WW 2.

No, it is FALSE. Senate Committee On Armed Services is not the same as the Armed Services. If it is, then Senate Committee On Armed Services = Senate Committee On Senate Committee On Armed Services. The Armed Services in Senate Committee On Armed Services refers to the Armed Forces. This is FRAUD on the part of Santorum.
