Received this in my inbox, and thought I'd pass it along for all who may be so inclined as to use it at your upcoming precinct conventions. :)

--------------------

I have taken the great work done by The Mudslinger [http://muddythoughts.blogspot.com/2008/02/panmanchurian-candidate-mccain.html] and turned it into a resolution.

Take this resolution to your precinct convention and start the conversation to protect the Constitution today!

Found this:

" . . . Franklin D. Roosevelt placed the Navy Hospital under the civil jurisdiction of the Canal Zone Government in conformity with the provisions of the Canal Zone Code as amended with Executive Order 8981 - NAVY HOSPITAL AREA, COCO SOLO, CANAL ZONE
December 17th, 1941. This happened years after McCains birth. McCain was not born in the Canal Zone, nor on a U.S. Navy base, but in the Republic of Panama. This is true for all children born in the hospital at Coco Solo prior to the Executive order which became effective December 17, 1941. The hospital was not on the Navy Base but was located between the Navy base and a town called Margarita . . ."

Attacks as terrible as this one and the completely rumor-based "affair" articles by the NY Times are guarenteeing that McCain will have the sympathy of as many people as possible. This is such a trivial, stupid thing to try to get a candidate on... The man was born on a US military base with 2 American parents, the father serving his country... He isn't some foreigner trying to take over our country, which is what the provision in the Constitution is for.

The BLOWBACK on attacks like this will propel the man into the White House.

I find this cause to further the ideals of Ron Paul. This is something we should band together on as this is yet another reason why our Military should not be spread all over the world. To what end do we allow the constitution to be bent and twisted when it suits our agenda?

John McCain is a naturalized citizen, he should not be eligible to be president without an amendment to the constitution. The founders would never approve of his presidency as they would have never approved of our military and their pregnant wives being in a foreign land.

We must stand together on this issue as it is not about John McCain, it is an aversion to the original intent of the constitution.

Thank you! I couldn't have said that better.

Agreed. Dirty politics isn't neccessary for victory.

Then again, rules are rules. At least there is some legal basis for this, whereas the Paul smear was outright BS. Tough call.

I'd say let the Democrats make an issue out of it. :)

Sure have been working well against us, though. If doing the right thing and holding him to account for changing his public funds status after failing to meed the petition requirements for multiple states (something we did) fails, why wouldn't we want to achieve the right result the wrong way?

Sooner or later we have to bend to expediency. Isn't that what they've been saying to us in an effort to make us give up? We can do the right thing and introduce an amendment after we get this traitor out of the way!

Where? It says citizenship. And if you attain citizenship at birth, hey, guess what? NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Anyway, check § 1401 (c) while you're at it.
