President Ron Paul Vice President options

I don't know if Pat would be interested in VP.
We know Jesse is. I would not be dissapointed if Ventura is the man.

Despite some of your knee jerk reactions to Rubio, you won't find a more all around VP candidate. He won with 50% of the vote in FL in a 3 way race. He is very conservative on most issues, maybe not as libertarian as some of us. He has a story. He is young and good looking which actually helps with females. Republicans LOVE him. He is articulate and will attract a very fast growing population within America, the Hispanics. If Ron/Rubio received 50% of the hispanic vote, the race is over for Obama and the Democrat Party in general for a long time.

FL and NM would be a definite shoe in this time around which any Republican nominee would need to win.

won't happen. Rubio is already a tool. He put forth a bill to make Georgia part of NATO.

What is interesting to me is how many in the GOP are burning their bridges with Ron Paul. Think Michele Bachmann. Think Huckabee. Some of these actually agree with Ron Paul on a lot of issues, and could have possibly been part of the ticket should Ron Paul win the nomination.

If Rubio is the VP, I don't expect Ron making it five months still living. Some of you guys just do not get it at all. This isn't piddly winks we are playing.

Yep.

Fail safe way to get Ron Paul shot? Pick a VP the establishment loves. They will shoot RP's brains all over the wall with the whole nation watching.

they did it to McKinley, and Teddy Roosevelt became president. with McKinley they even botched his recovery, they were that desperate.
but the greater threat is impeachment; one false flag terrorist attack and Ron would get impeached, convicted and Rubio sworn in.

this is why the VP must have a basic libertarian ideology. Ventura does not (draft, single payer) it comes back to the Judge being the best. Mike Lee, maybe Jenny Sanford would be alternatives.

judge is best. I would love to see an interviewer even try to bully him. No offense to Ron, he is a great thinker and philosopher and person but a great debater and speaker he is not. Judge would be a great Aaron to our Moses in my opinion. And he knows his stuff. Being a Judge is means he has actual credibility and not just a talking head. Honestly I wouldnt have a problem with Rand either.

Rand would be political suicide; Ron will be a one term president, so will the Judge, and then its Rand's turn

what are you? new? Rubio is a branded, tried through and through neo con. He is an israel-firster and has been a complete traitor to the tea party. Absolutely no to Rubio. I prefer Pat Buchanan.

Pat Buchanan would great at the UN but he brings nothing to the ticket; the Judge brings in Italians and NJ. and I want to see pat cast the vote admitting Palestine to the UN.

or just switch the Israeli seat to Palestine (as was done with Taiwan's seat)

Ron and the judge would be an excellent ticket, especially considering that once in office Paul could later nominate Napolitano to the Supreme Court, then appoint Rand as the new VP!

Rubio is 180 degrees opposite of Ron on foreign policy issues. He's the biggest neo-conservative in the Senate. That wouldn't work at all.

Goldwater Jr
Rand Paul, Sen KY
Jimmy Duncan, Cong TN
Walter Jones, Cong SC

The choice for VP needs to be an insurance policy, and the Judge would be perfect. He mirrors Paul on virtually everything. It would be like having a Prez with 2 lives. While it would take him out of Supreme Court contention, but I'm sure Paul & the Judge know of some Constitutionalist judges/lawyers for a SC nod. It would endear Paul a little more to the FoxNews crowd that keeps its distance due to his foreign policy, and the Judge's stance on war & personal liberties would be a good draw on the center-left.

The Judge, hands down.

Ditto on the Luis Fortuno question. From what I've read and seen I really like him, and I think he'd be a very good VP choice.
