Perry Spokesman on THE PICTURES

here's what Rand said

I'm not sure who is spinning for whom here, and Rand says he did not talk to his dad directly about it, but heard it through the staff, so I'm left a little flummoxed.

In any case, that was not a "friendly" exchange.

Is it possible the photographer/reporter is a Ron Paul fan or Rick Perry hater? Perhaps someone not happy with Perry's anti-gay charade?

There are likely dozens if not hundreds of photographs that are in the sole possession of that one person or their employer. How many photographs of the event have not been given out? If I was the photographer, I may even want a photo for every second or thereabouts. That is only 10,800 photos for a 3 hour event. Not unreasnable, IMO. I bet this guy was holding down the auto-click button for several seconds.

Oh, and I think the Paul camp running from this is a good thing. The picture is still worth a thousand words, and he ingraciates himself to some useless bastards.

running from something is not in Paul. He may think it already has more attention than it needs, and he isn't about to whine about it. But he doesn't run.

My theory: I think the staff was protecting Rand from feeling the need to smack around Perry.

I don't know what they do up thar in Austin but a East Texas and Western Kentucky boy might feel the need to protect ole' pappy's honor from those Capital ruffians.

Call me conspiratorial, but could it been that Perry was warning Paul of speaking out on such things such as the fence and what not. Maybe he trying to tell Paul that the elites will not put up with such discussion or whatever:confused:

Interestingly, they both actually oppose the fence.

Friendly converstations don't involve putting fingers in other people's faces and putting your arm on them. That's not friendly What man goes around putting his arm on another's arm like that as a friendly gesture with his finger in your face?

Ron said that he didn't even remember that happening.
