Perry Spokesman on THE PICTURES

If ron is saying the same thing, then I'm inclined to believe him. perhaps perry just always looks like an ahole?

QFT

There's just something about him that he just looks sinister and like an asshole ALL THE TIME. But if he'd have laid a hand on me he'd be short a hand.
Same thing with the video where he puts a finger on that kid's chest. I would have grabbed it broken that f-er off!

Ron doesn't need to attack on this or say what might have actually been said. The pictures say alot and they make Perry look bad. Ron could have made a big deal about this, but he didn't. He doesn't need to. Dr. Paul comes out of it looking like the honorable gentleman that he is.

I'm inclined to believe it was nothing if Paul says so. At the very least I want to respect that he doesn't want to make a big deal about it.

But the email declares that Perry is afraid of Ron Paul based on that appearance.

Let's take some time to consider this a bit more...
Ron Paul says it was nothing... a Perry spokesman says it was nothing... Rand Paul says it was nothing... Rand Paul says he spoke with the Ron Paul campaign staff and they said it was nothing.

Now we get an email requesting more money to run the "Trust" ad... it invokes the images of Perry looking like an asshole to inflame supporters to contribute more... that email is signed by Jesse Benton.

Perry IS an asshole and looks and behaves like that all the time. I was hoping there was more to this and that it might turn on him in the media... alas. But give this situation and the statements by those involved a little thought and make your own conclusions as to who is being disingenuous, and why.

gheesh folks...think ron can handle this without all this speculation......lets stay focused....thats what really will piss em off

I was thinking Perry was probably giving Ron an, "You're the one who's gonna give a run for my money comment.

But Perry does looked pissed in the one pic.

Meh, don't really think it's a big deal either way.

I have never been approached like that in my life other than when they had a bone to pick.

Though what happened here was so incredibly inappropriate... this to me is a testament of the humility and gentlemanliness of Ron Paul. Where do you hear about this interaction first? It wasn't Ron Paul. He didn't come out blasting about his situation. Someone else picked it up and put it out there. These pictures will hurt Perry. Ron doesn't need to respond.

I want the mic'd sound and the video from it...it exists...but I'm sure Ron is telling the truth...or doesn't want to be seen as a weak guy...no one wants a weak President (not that it's weak to get bullied at 76 by a humungous oaf like Perry, even in a passive-aggressive way).

A picture is just a snapshot in time. At that particular second Perry may have looked menacing but that does not mean he was aggressive towards RP.

Ron's bodyguard approached the podium, and huntsman felt he needed to break it up. What more do you beta's need to understand intimidation dynamics?

It wasn't Ron Paul's body guard. Ron Paul and his son both said it was nothing. What more do you need to stop foaming at the mouth?

Call me conspiratorial, but could it been that Perry was warning Paul of speaking out on such things such as the fence and what not. Maybe he trying to tell Paul that the elites will not put up with such discussion or whatever:confused:

Like Ron would even care what the elites thought...

If he projected this demeanor during the debates he'd be polling at 95%.

Yeah. One of the biggest and most important differences between Ron and the others is that he is an actual person, rather than one of these wind-up dolls with an automated response to everything. He knows his ideas are under attack from teh second he steps on stage, and it's pretty easy to feel embattled, and therefore to be defensive, and therefore a little flustered, exasperated and ineloquent.

Those of us who've seen and met him in circumstances like the video know who he is. It's a shame most Americans love the plastic men.
