What's 'conservative' or 'liberal' mean anymore?

In his book, "Time to Get Tough: Making America #1 Again," Trump says he would appoint justices that would make the court more 'conservative' which I infer as making the court less 'liberal.'

Advocating a fair trade deal for America is a pro-American stance.

Advocating for a strong military for defense and for bringing the troops home is a pro-American stance.

Lew Rockwell and Pat Buchanan like what they're hearing.

The chain saw stunt didn't cost Rand anything.. lol Trump is running on universal healthcare which is enough for many of the gop voters to dump him as soon as he talks about it.

Guys... Trump is another flavor of the month.. We haven't made it to the first debate. To be surging right now is a death wish... Now that we have that out of the way, Trumps past positions are TERRIBLE. I almost threw up looking them up. There is no way that this GOP elects trump. Seriously donations to hillary lol, universal healthcare, gun control, eminent domain, taxes, etc. If someone calls him out on these positions (which they will eventually for sure) he will lose a ton of support. He also has a very low chance to win a general. He is polling the worst against hillary right now even worse than Cruz. Rand doesn't need to throw away the general. Rand actually has a huge ground game in the first two states. Relax, focus on outreach, remind people that voting records and past positions matter, and help Rand in Iowa and NH! Now is the time to suck it up and not freak out when people talk about trump. If people elect this FAKE there was never a chance for us. Seriously over 20% of the vote in 2012 we had in Iowa and NH. If we increase that then we win. That is all that matters.

Cain was pushed by the media and the GOP establishment, even though he couldn't think on his feet and had no real vision. Cain was an extremely weak candidate. Trump is pushing Trump, has a vision and it's gaining traction with the voters.

We have no idea about trump being a weak or strong candidate.. we have yet to have 1 debate... Trump has yet to set out a vision for us! People have NO IDEA what he is running on. He has been a 1 issue guy so far apart for all the videos explaining his horrible positions. David do you seriously think that most voters will fall for this guy? Do you think they will ignore Hillary donations and flip flops on SO MANY CORE positions??? How in the world is anyone that gets this information to think that trump had this sincere change of heart (sniffle sniffle) instead of the obvious change of positions since he is running for office. Just like Santorum, Romney, Huck, etc. becoming conservative magically right before an election. Come on man, this is so comical. This is the RonPaulforum partly because of the consistency. TRUMP HAS NO CONSISTENCY PERIOD. That cannot be disuputed
 
Koch announced their surrogate campaign strategy a long time ago, they said due to Mitt Romney's poor performance in the general election they would field multiple conservative candidates and weed them down and then they would pick the one that is strongest in the general election. This is not a horse race, this is going to be a long drawn out process that might go brokered. That's why there are so many people running.

We can't believe any of them. We are bound to be disappointed regardless of who's elected. But the vigor with which he has gone after the border and trade at least gets one's attention and generates some excitement and dare I say hope. But, as you say, there is no reason to believe any of them. We're all from Missouri now. They will have to show us.

I saw it as cheap and meaningless. It cost him with me. I think maybe two or three other voters saw it the same way.

On the universal health care, will the GOP voters dump the Senate and House GOP leadership next time around because of it? Why doesn't the House and Senate GOP have new leadership now with all the travesty we've seen them pull since November?

Maybe he is. Maybe the die is cast for America and the flood of illegals will continue. Maybe the de-industrialization of America will continue. Maybe the foreign wars and banker bail-outs will continue.

This is what many think, and this is why many are preparing for a societal collapse as we have seen several times in the past 30 years around the world. Anyone not preparing isn't being responsible in my opinion.

Trump isn't going anywhere because the social contract has been obliterated by the usual suspects. As a result, civility or verbal politeness is actually viewed as a liability.
 
David you obviously have been convinced that Trump is as good as Rand. You have the right to this belief, however, I cannot comprehend it... Trump has one of the worst records in the field. That is non-debatable. If your best argument against his record is "they are all fakes" and "the gop continues to elect those who are getting rid of obamacare so why would it hurt trump" then there is nothing I can say to you.

I urge you to watch the videos of Trump explaining why we need eminent domain with stossel. I urge you to watch his statement on why the wealthy need to be taxed more. If you can continue to hold your head up high and envision yourself checking the box beside his name, more power too you. I highly doubt you will get that chance unless you live in an early state if trump even makes it that far. I am disappointed after these last few weeks because no one has learned to research people for consistency. However, I do not worry because the truth will come out and trump will crash and burn. I could never vote for someone who has had these positions he has had. The founders would have rolled in their graves listening to trump.
