Federalist means you are believer in a BIG-government. Totally opposite of states' rights
Literally, it would seem so. But "Federalist" in America today holds as much weight as the word "Liberal".
What I mean is, in politics, a "liberal" is actually conservative. It's right-wing. In contemporary America, a "liberal" is left-wing, however.
