The tweet that Matt posted here was saying that Nat Recip was halfway to nationwide Constitutional Carry! Seriously dude, come un. You can think this through if you really try hard. If Thomas Massie is successful in passing a NATIONAL constitutional carry bill, that's trampling all over those precious 10th amendment states rights you're concerned about.
The text of Cornyn's Senate Bill S.214
A qualified individual must (1) be eligible to possess, transport, or receive a firearm under federal law; (2) carry a valid photo identification document; and (3) carry a valid state-issued concealed carry permit, or be eligible to carry a concealed firearm in his or her state of residence.
The text of Massie's H.R.9534 has no such language.
If I am confused or in error about the differences or meanings, let me know precisely where and I will concede.
PS: Rand is not a co-sponsor of Cornyn's bill.
