Blitzer to show exit poll numbers in 5 minutes- CNN

Guys, relax. If they release numbers they will only be ISSUES numbers. And they won't be accurate anyway. You don't get proper demographic ratios midway through the day. You aren't including voters who show up late in the day.

Guys, keep in mind: Even if they do give numbers regarding how many Republicans or Democrats are showing up... they're not even accurate. Certain demographics are more likely to vote early or late in the day. That's why when some exit polls leaked early on election day '04 they were so out of whack with the final exit polls.

Early voters are more likely to be female, old and unemployed. They don't represent all people who will vote today.

A simpler explanation is, there was vote rigging in '04 too. Exit polls factored in the demographics, and until the domination of the Diebold et al regime, were known to be the most accurate polls there were. Enter the machines, and suddenly exit polls became less reliable.

Yeah, it will be like...."the majority of voters are decidedly against the war and that is why they are voting."

Later that night....."John McCain wins in a landslide!"

Go figure:rolleyes:

Oh God, another conspiracy theorist.

I'm sorry, but anybody who knew anything about politics knew that polls showing Kerry with over 60% of the vote in Pennsylvania were absurd.

There's a practical reason they don't release exit polls early (besides the moral and legal issues regarding how they influence voters who haven't cast their ballots yet). It's because different demographics vote at different points in the day. It's the same reason that Gallup pollsters don't make their phone calls only at one time in the day. You want a proper sample.

I don't know how some of these folks keep up with all the conspiracies in their head. Amazing (to quote Blitzer) on how none of the people involved in the conspiracies ever talks or no one is ever approached and refuses and then goes to the press.

JWaksman,
Why would you say this? You sound pretty intelligent and possibly well informed except that people just went to prison because of the vote fraud in 04.

The best part is - if they were just going to fake the final exit poll results in the end (since the final exit poll results in every state was within 1-2% of the actual vote total, as all exit polls actually are), why would they even be keeping track of the actual exit poll results? Why have something to leak? Wouldn't the "leak" be a leak of the numbers they were preparing to release? The ones showing the "official results"?

That's the best part of these conspiracy theories... when the motives don't even make sense.

some of us follow every article in the news every day

just so we can try to inform you and get laughed at, because we do the research and you didn't

believe it or not, you are being conspired against - BIG TIME

now go back to sleep

"oh god its a sheep"

the bought and paid for press isn't going to tell you anything

you have to find it yourself

dont reject everyone who is telling the truth just because you're ill-informed (AND YOU ARE)

evidence of vote fraud has been presented in many many areas, going back 40 years

but I digress, someone who thinks that everything is fine and surely someone would have told you if something was wrong.

Odd thing is, someone did, but you justify believeing what you want to believe because its easy. THATS NUTS

PS - its not a theory if there are FACTS. AND FACT IS CONSPIRACIES EXIST AND HAPPEN EVERY DAY IN PROBABLY EVERY CITY ON EARTH

What people went to prison for was low-level petty stuff. Signing up fake voters. Paying people to register. Voting more than once.

Nobody in any position of power, or in any decent level of power, was accused of vote fraud. There was no county in the whole country that had results that stood out from what people expected, so nothing was even widespread enough to affect results of a single county.

You're saying that the hundreds of people who conduct these polls, from all sorts of different organizations (including channels as diverse as CNN and FoxNews) were all in cahoots??? Come on...

ding ding ding.

it's a whole other world as you move further up the pyramid.
people don't place so nice.

its called plausible deniability, scapegoats, fallguys, malicious code, corrupt official and computers,

why would you believe they WOULDN'T..

think everything is all rosy? wake up man, the evidence is everywhere

we are slaves, nobody told you, I get that,,,but that doesnt make those of us with the evidence crazy

what I wouldnt give to still think everything was fine

on more minor thing for those who are so against truth that may exist outside the public mass media.....

who told you that conspiracy theorists were crazy?

they did

why would they do that?

would it have aything to do with ALL the stories going around are basically pertaining to when the media LIED to them

What you havent seen the media lie yet?

like I said I wish I could find such rose-colored glasses

Actually, part of Michigan is in the central time zone (southwestern part of the UP). If they can't announce numbers until all of the polls are closed, it won't be until 9:00 eastern.

Let me tell you.... Since May 3rd, 2007, the news media has been attacking the Ron Paul movement. May 3rd was when the first debate was held. Ron Paul did very well in this debate, and won the post debate poll with 80-90% of the votes. There was also an enormous amount of positive posts for Ron Paul directly after this first debate.

Ron Paul's name ended up being REMOVED from the poll and all of the positive comments deleted. THIS IS WHEN THE NEWS MEDIA BEGAN TO CREATE THIS PASSION YOU FIND IN MANY SUPPORTERS OF Dr Paul.

If one does the research, they would find the proof of ALL of the attacks, smears, etc towards the Ron Paul movement. They literally tried to have him excluded from the second debate(thanks Michael Steele) because they were not happy with his answers.

The liars in the media created the upset you find in Dr. Paul's supporters. These are your so called "conspiracy theorists".

Sorry I should have said conspiracy "theories"

media version - usually spin, lack of evidence, false conclusions, distractions, outight fabrications

true story - just takes a few witnesses, the real evidence, focus, discernment, logic and a VOICE

which one do you prefer?

which one is dangerous?

I don't know if you're just talking about election fraud, but certainly 'conspiracy theorists' do have a lot of reason to think how they do in some areas. Go look up quotes of people admitting that they are part of the new world order (David Rockefeller's memoirs, for one, George HW Bush, Gordon Brown, Carol Quigley etc.) and look at the CFR's website and publications admitting that they want to destroy sovereignty and won't have it any other way. Seriously, it's called "research." I haven't come across anybody who did SERIOUS research on the matter who didn't come back sobered and well aware that more is going on than what we are supposed to believe.

(For an example of 'serious research,' look at me: I compiled sources for over 2 years, reading every day, putting facts together, applying my personal experience in the military, etc. It takes EFFORT to know the truth.)

I don't understand what you're saying... the media is biased against Ron Paul?? Of course, haha. Who would argue with that?

But there's a difference between CNN leaving an extra chunk of the graph gray, and actually GETTING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO LIE AND COMMIT FELONIES AND CHANGE THE NUMBERS.

That's the difference between analyzing what the media is actually doing, and inventing conspiracy theories without any substantive evidence.
