I find it very odd that there are people who worry about Sharia law taking hold in the US on any significant scale. Sure, there may be some small pockets of it here and there, just as there are other sects and cults scattered throughout the US. This seems to be what the OP is concerned about. Fair enough. But those who claim that Muslims in this country could possibly impose Sharia law beyond this minimal level have been brainwashed by neocon propaganda.
Let's all remember what neoconservatism is about. It's a political movement that was started by a group of ex-leftist Jews who schemed to transform the Republican Party into the "War for Israel Party." Their goal has always been the same from the beginning: to promote a "Clash of Civilizations" between Western countries, especially the US, and the Muslim world. This would allow Israel to benefit greatly at US expense in blood and treasure.
Their plan worked perfectly. The Republican Party is now full of idiots who worship the federal government because it "defends our freedoms from radical Islamo-fascists."Any war is a good war. Having a Big Brother surveillance state at home is just fine as long as it "keeps us safe from terrorism." We should just abandon the Constitution and all our traditional American values in the name of safety and being "tough on terrorists." Naturally, the neoconned GOP had no use for someone like Ron Paul.
One important aspect of the neocon agenda is stoking paranoia about Muslims taking over the US. Not only is this clearly impossible, it's a very ironic charge coming from the neoconservative movement, the leadership of which is almost entirely Jewish and very dedicated to Israel (in spite of living in the US). If people want to worry about a minority group taking over the US, perhaps they should be worried about Zionist Jews, who have ALREADY taken over the US government. Something like 50% of Democratic Party donations come from Jewish sources, and I'm sure the percentage is also high for the GOP. AIPAC is easily one of the most wealthy and powerful lobbies in D.C. Does anyone think Muslims in the US have anywhere close to this kind of political influence? If they did, maybe the US government wouldn't consistently refer to Israel's slow genocide of the Palestinians and theft of their land as "self-defense."
If the Jews did it why couldn't the Muslims? You refuted your own point.
