There is no need for a physical temple. Judaism is obsolete.

Wrong. First Jesus will rule on earth for a thousand years.

It is no coincidence that the Dome of the Rock is right where the Temple is supposed to be, based on measurements from the walls of old Jerusalem.

I guess you're one of those who think Jews are God's "chosen people" and don't have to accept Christ for salvation, can continue to deny He is God, can murder Him without repentance, ect and still be "His people"....

All who do not accept Christ as their Savior will go to hell, Jews included.

Why? Why does it cause so much fear? What is so scary and bothersome about someone converting to Christianity?

Iran is a sovereign nation.
Their country, their laws.
Iran is also a Theocracy.
Islam IS the law.
Anyone trying to undermine Islam is a traitor.
Evangelicals undermine Islam.
In addition, you may want to research in what church the concept of Individual Rights was created. It certainly wasn't Islam.
We need to get back to being the Shining City Upon a Hill again, as opposed to the Eye of Sauron.

I'm one of those Christians that believe the Bible, yes.

Jews who are not Messianic will go to hell, but they are still his chosen people. It isn't my opinion of what should or should not be. If I was God, it wouldn't be that way, but I am not God.

Hell,, world wide outrage grows for a two bit warlord that has been gone from Uganda for several years,, Yet ignores the Evil Government of Uganda that is still in place.

Pffftt ! and most Christians have a very twisted view of coming events due to a lot of bad doctrine in the churches.

Christ is Returning.. some are going to have a rude awakening,, if they haven't rejected him by that time.

Judaism is obsolete. God's chosen people are the ones accept Christ.

We don't need the temple, we don't need the priests, we don't need the sacrifices. We have Jesus. He is our Holy of Holies, he is our High Priest, he is the Lamb of God who takes the sins of the world. The center of the Christian faith is not a place, it is a person. We don't go to Jerusalem, we don't go to Mecca, we don't go anywhere, we go to Jesus.

We can go to Jerusalem and see the places the Bible records, but that doesn't get us any closer to God. You can't get any closer to God than Jesus. It's sad to see people, especially Christians, stuff pieces of papers with their prayers into the "Wailing Wall" and do so because they think it brings their prayers closer to God. We as Christians pray by the power of the Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ to our Father.

The whole point of place (the temple) was to prepare people for the coming of the person. Once the person has come, the place is longe necessary. We as Christians do not need the temple, we do not worship the same God as Jews do. The center of their faith is a place, the center of our faith is a person. They worship a shadow, we worship a risen Christ.

The coming of Christ rendered Judaism obsolete. It was a judgement on Judaism, it was a judgment on their way if religion and life and it is how God forced a change.

We live in the times of the Gentiles. We have Christ, we are God's people. God gave us the gift of salvation through Christ. All those who accept Christ are God's chosen people. Jesus is our temple.

One track (slightly bent) mind.

No. This entire thread is about a guy who is being killed for his religion. And you are refusing to criticize it because of the Mayans. Seems illogical.

[quote[He wants to bomb,Bomb, bomb and is doing his best to reinforce Hate of the evil Iranians.[/QUOTE]

Can one be both? Can one be against bombing Iran AND also say it is not ok for Iran to kill a man for his religion?

Christians have been killed for their faith. That is both an honor and privilege and will have a special reward.
Other "Christians" are killed for their actions. That is a whole nother thing.

I have no idea in this case,, but I suspect he has invited it. I also suspect it is being used for propaganda purposes.
the final reward or condemnation is not up to me.

However, countering the War Propaganda is. So I do.

Not if you`re extremely emotional and feel that you have to buy into the whole package.

No one is saying is is ok, but if this man knew what he was getting into. He knew apostasy is a crime which can carry the death penalty in Iran. He still became a Christian. His faith in Jesus Christ is so strong that he is willing to risk death to follow his Savior.

Matthew 5

10* “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11* “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12* Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Then perhaps all Christians should be killed following your logic as it would deliver them unto Jesus in heaven.

Starting with Christ himself who was crucified by pagans for his religious beliefs.

But that no longer happens though, nor will it in this case.

Looks like the global outrage has reached Israel too:

Israel is only Mideast state safe for Christians, envoy to U.S. says

..
the desecration of the Church of the Nativity in the West Bank as instances indicating a threat to Christianity in the Muslim world, adding that conversion "to Christianity is a capital offense in Iran, where last month Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani was sentenced to death."

Oren concluded the article, in which he cites the exodus of Palestinian Christians from the West Bank and Gaza over increased pressure by Islamist groups such as Hamas, by syaing that the "extinction of the Middle East's Christian communities is an injustice of historic magnitude."

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...-state-safe-for-Christians-envoy-to-U.S.-says

Ofcourse the pro Iran war envoy forgot to mention that Israel created Hamas to weaken Arafat (who was married to a Palestinian Christian woman).

Wrong. There is at least one who not only says it is OK but actively supports it for anyone who converts to Christianity.

And many more are tacitly making excuses for it by bringing up the Mayans or other such nonsense.

I still don't see what's so great about a Satanic version of Christianity which supports apartheid.
