Can women be pastors? I know what the bible says, but I want to hear what some people have to say.

Today for some reason the pastor's wife gave the sermon. This is the first time I've attended a church service other than a wedding where the pastor was a woman. I honestly didn't like it. It didn't feel right and I wanted to leave. I've watched some YouTube videos that say if your church has a woman pastor leave immediately because this type of church is broken down to the core.

Here is my logic: if a church allows a woman pastor what other parts of the church and their theology have been affected by the world?

I was talking to a friend of mine today about this and he made the point that only something like this would happen in Christianity. This would never happen in Islam.

I know I have an error in the thread title I can't change it.

Can women be pastors? Yes, its happening. Should they according to the Bible? Having women be pastors is out of God's order.

From my experience you will not find a church that has perfect doctrine. The churches that take the dive deep into the word usually believe that the gifts of the holy spirit stopped in the first century. Which is not actually the case. Then you have the churches that believe in the gifts of the spirit, but really lack understanding in the Word.

My advice is find a church where you can have fellowship, but run the race that God has set before you.

It's a sign of spiritual rot. By the time you get to women in leadership roles in the church, many other things have gone wrong.
