Iran was a democracy before we overthrew Mossadeq and installed the Shah. Due to the Shah's brutality, the Islamists came to power. But for our intervention in Iran there would be no blasphemy laws in Iran. Again, the offense that you took at FrankRep's article makes no sense, especially if you support Ron Paul's foreign policy and the idea of "blowback".

As for the incident in Mexico, the point I was making is that the Mexican government has chosen not to prosecute the priest in this case. I seem to recall in the past you complaining about Egypt not doing enough to protect Coptic Christians from mob violence. Well if Mexico is refusing to prosecute the instigators of mob violence against Protestants, what is the difference?

Sorry I didn't get to the below post before the thread was locked: You're talking about a guy who supported Hitler and David Duke and thought there was a Jewish conspiracy to convince white people that black people weren't dumb.

He didn't "just oppose crimes by the Israeli state".

How much will you excuse?

My response is that his points about Hitler were correct. I overlooked the other things you mentioned, and I would have called those tasteless. To answer "How much will you excuse?"-only things that are reasonable and can be supported by evidence. Thanks for the civil conversation. -HB
