Why don't you guys skip the moneybomb and just start promoting donations to the campaign. Promote the donation link, they need the money now.

How about we all email the campaign with "We NEED an Iowa ticker" in the subject line? They can't ignore 50 emails with the same subject.

I will email them once I get home, I can't right now. If someone here does it, and mentions that they have a target, and an Iowa themed ticker would help, I'm sure they would take notice. An Iowa theme is definitely something we can work with.

Said this a few times now... HQ needs to set up mini fundraisers that each of us can promote on our own every day. Log in to money's site... they have the right idea.

The previous moneybombs especially the big ones from 4 years ago created motivation in the grassroots. Right now the current polls out of IA & NH are motivating us right NOW. We need to capitalize on this. We have never, NEVER polled this high. It would be silly to promote something a month from now when the campaign needs money now, motivation is high, Paul is surging, and we are tied for 1st place.

This is our moment to shine. Let's push for Iowa!

Here is some more motivation. A new precinct captain in my county, on her first call, not only converted the person but got them a yard sign. The fruit is ripe for the picking. Now is the time. I say we push NOW!

But if we want to be leading these polls in thirty days, we need to get the money NOW.

Ok since we're doing a 10 day push I propose the title "Kinetic Monetary Action" only somehow work the Iowa theme into the title.

Propose a date to begin it? I agree that it should be a running fundraiser for about 10 days, and the campaign should begin building enthusiasm for it with a couple of videos from Ron and some facebook and twitter updates about him being top tier, etc, and then put the ticker up and name it "The Iowa fund" or whatever.

Begin November 21st and go through November 30th. 10 days.

Ads are off the air, and a big total on Dec 16th will do nothing at this point. We have the momentum on our side, and the enthusiasm, but no money. We can't slow down in Iowa.

I read through all the ideas in this thread. Agree that we need a continuous flow of funds into the campaign starting now. It will be too late if we wait for big moneybomb day in mid-December.

This was also something we learned from 2008. The campaign would inform us of the need for funds continually flowing into the campaign, but many contributors were waiting for the the "big" day" of a moneybomb.

Let's be sensible this time. I like the idea of a ten day push starting ASAP, but we need to keep the flow of funds going.

I'm in favor of putting the ticker back up now. We need an end of the month push, simple as that. I also like the "Fill The Tea Pot for Ron Paul" idea as well, however, I think the title needs to be shorter and catchier. The tea pot imagery works though. Perhaps when we reach our goal it can blow smoke and whistle.
