Vindicated? Sarah Palin Mocked In 2008 For Warning Russia Could Invade Ukraine

Just save it ok? Your NeoCon stances is showing again, its clear some Americans on pretending to be libertarians haven't learned ANYTHING YET FROM IRAQ Nor the Balkans.

Why is it so hard to admit that you got played?

What is your definition of neocon - anybody that doesn't feel the need to lie about Sarah Palin in order to isolate Republican voters?

Just because I insist that people not twist words around - and I'm consistent on that even if the speaker is Sarah Palin, Ron Paul or Barack Obama - does not make me a neocon.

She answered this in post 27.

This ?

I even transcribed it for you: "Pray for our military men and women, who are striving to do what is right for this country, that our leaders... our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God. That is what we have to make sure that we are praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is from God."

That was also addressed:

If she asked others to pray that bloodshed mayhem of Iraq war was a "task from God"... that puts her in even worse llight than just simple religious fanaticism of saying that "Iraq war is a task from God".

Here is scenario.

A bloodbath slaughter of innocent people has taken place after an ivasion of a country by invaders using lies as justification.

A- Invaders believed it was a task from God
B- Invaders did not know in the beginning if it was a task from God but later say "let's pray that God wanted this to happen"

Now who is worse, invaders in A or B?

If you have any video that shows that her words have been edited to change the meaning of her statement, please share.

.

Already posted in the post above, along with the transcription of what she actually said.

What is really, really scary, and something I pointed out to my husband as I was looking for the original video tis afternoon, is that contrary to your assertion, there was actually quite an outcry when the unedited video emerged.

But today, when I went to find it, Google has it buried somewhere along page 5. Even the bloggers who railed about it are pretty much nowhere to be found in the search results. And that's much different than it was last time I went through all of this.

I'm watching the history books being rewritten right before our very eyes.

Oh for Christ's sakes. Give it a rest already. That isn't what she did either. She's telling high school graduates they should be praying that our leaders were getting guidance from good and not evil.

You challanged accuracy of a statement, it should not be responded to?

But underlying point is important and should not be put to rest. Political compromises and election alliances aside, she to this day seems to hold belief that Iraq war was God's will, she supports US tax payers funded occupation/oppression abroad even today, I have not seen her criticize groping/police state/drone executions by current SWC and never spoke out against samilar policies by previous SWC. As recent as few weeks ago she slauted a man whose only regret was that he had not killed enough Iraqis.
Maybe she is "coming around" or can be used in political chess for some auxiliary liberty causes.. but her unrepented conduct so far shows that she knows little about key principles of liberty.

Essence of Liberty involves a bit more than just going out in the wild and hunting Caribou.

I presented an accurate statement. You're making up wild-ass scenarios and cherry picking a portion of the quote to make a point that doesn't exist.

If you want to make fun of her, go find the Katie Couric interview where she couldn't answer what she read to get news. If you really want to have fun with it, transcribe it word for word. It's largely gibberish.

I don't hold that against her, because I talk like that too when I am nervous. My mind races ahead of my mouth, and by the time I get hadf a sentence out, I start a new sentence. I see people's eyes when I do that, but I can't stop it. Funny I can read a prepared speech in front of hundreds of people with minimal issues. But one on one, unprepared, I babble. So does she. <shrugs>

Ron Paul also does the same thing when he gets excited, and subsequently gets trashed for saying things he didn't say. You can bet that there are plenty of people who will never forgive him for blaming America for 9/11, even though he said no such thing.

You're doing the same thing when you insist that Palin should recant her statement. Because she didn't make it.

It's weird. There are many times I side against you, but I find this very rampant on the internet and youtube.

When called by matt for butchering Palin's mis-quote I wanted to post a youtube video of the whole interview. On a lot of older interviews (older as in anything older than 2 years old.) It's hard to find the full unedited version. I found propaganda vids with lots of cut and pastes, but not the honest original.

I'm not necessarily chalking this up to conspiracy but more of people click on the most outrageous (truthful or not) and it gets hard to find quotations in context.

That video is leftist propaganda. It is absolutely and indisputedly edited. The original is also on YouTube. She did not say that Iraq was a task from God. She said that they should pray that Iraq was a task from God.

It is absolutely discouraging to see anybody in this movement touting that as real. That is the depths to which the left will sink, and how wonderful that we are helping them.

We have to have allies, we have to be able to tell when one is better than the other.

Most criticism of Palin comes from things she said in a 3 month period from August 2008 and November 2008.

Apparently people just have never experienced Presidential elections, where the VP nominee is supposed to be spouting the positions of the Presidential nominee.

Never experienced reality, didn't research reality, but are certain to express displeasure.

Really hate it from the Ron Paulers.

Palin is better than McCain and Romney.

Wrong.

My dislike for Palin comes from her unethical practices as governor.

Palin is an opportunist and flies on the coattails of anyone that might be in the public eye. She is much worse than Romney and at about the same level as McCain. The biggest problem is that we all know McCain is a slug; with Palin, people want to believe she is better, so her shenanigans and silly statements are usually ignored by her fans.

Not really a fan of Sarah Palin.

As far as I can tell, shes a big government "conservative" and a neocon...

I have no love for Obama but I'm confused about her statement.

First off, Obama is not a non-interventionist. He seems to love the foreign empire as much as the next guy (maybe slightly less?).

And lets say that there was a McCain or a Romney in the White House, what would be different? I guess the US would have been even more militarily aggressive and even less likely to use diplomacy?

That we'd be threatening Russia and be willing to declare war should they invade?

If this is the case, she must have HATED Ron Paul.

That would be Bill Kristol.
Everybody watch this General Wesley Clark speech, from the Commonwealth Club of California. Clark goes all the way back to 1991 history. Of course, Clark wasn't "Selected" by the masters, but America's foreign policy is controlled by the masters, the politicians are their marionettes.

Russia has every Right to defend her People in Ukraine how would you feel if the fascists or Neo Nazis take over several areas in your city?
Would you bow down and accept them?

The war mongers on BraitBart comment section are idiots they should have voted for John McCain.

Russia has every right to defend her people in Ukraine just like the British do in the US.

Russia should own people? And use that claim of ownership to invade other nations? Where do you come up with this shit? I know where this idea of supporting slavery that you have leads to. Things like the Ukrainian famine.

? And use that claim of ownership to invade other nations?

I could say the same thing about whom was the right in the claim of ownership to invade other nations during the 90s NeoCon? did you forget you were the ones that invaded Libya? Serbia? Iraq and claimed it as your own triumph.

Things like the Ukrainian famine.
So i assume with that being stated your in favor of the fascists whom have taken power in Kiev then? with is it with you Republicans supporting Fascist groups? whatever its in Ukraine or elsewhere?

Thank you for posting this. People here seem to have forgotten so quick it seems. When i post the video elsewhere they call it either fake or a conspiracy.

Even though there was a a video of an independent reporter that asked General Wesley Clark on this speech he made, after he knew the question he felt.

Canada is very proud of it's long history of humanitarian warfare. That's why I've always thought Gary Johnson should run for PM.
