Vindicated? Sarah Palin Mocked In 2008 For Warning Russia Could Invade Ukraine

I feel about it the same way I'd feel about Mexico defending its citizens in Texas.

The difference being that the Russians were there legally. I would have no issue with an American military presence moving into an area to ensure that Americans were safe.

Sadly, our military is never used to actually protect us any more.

The FYR of Macedonia shouldn't be called that. Greeks very much take exception to the country calling itself that.

If there was only a time when we gave a f**k what the Greeks thought about how our country should be called.

Spot on.

The Russian are there legally and the "rebels" are western sock puppets.

There are 10,000 Russians protesting at Lenin Square at the moment, so a few of them do live there. ;)

Legally? Yeaw I guess if you call might makes right, it is legal. If there were obvious brutalities happening to the ethnic Russian UKRAINIANS in the area maybe but the reports I saw when the Ukrainians in the eastern part demonstrated for the EU they were beaten up and driven away. That don't sound like the Russian sympathizers were in much danger of brutality. The Russians are protecting their naval base there. Can't be a global player if you can't get you navy out into the open seas.

To be honest Russia inflated how big the secession movement is and has so far created conflicts trough paid activists to have a reason to invade.Groups of 50-100 people attacking and taking cities and regions with a population of hundred of thousand people all because the central government is in chaos and can't respond is not a popular demand for secession.

The only thing the Russians have going for them is that between local corrupt politicians and Russian corrupt politicians the average people don't care who takes power and all they want is not to be the sacrificial lambs. So the Russians will roll over as much of Ukraine as they feel will not be biting more than you can chew and then it will end.The Russians are in no way right except might.

That's a really telling graphic. What's even more telling is that they apparently didn't have enough space to fit the rest of the countries that should be listed there.

My info is that the rebels were Russian false flag, as there were weapons in use (a certain model grenade launcher) that onlu Russian forces have.

Now that would really be a twist. It's hard to imagine none of those ever made it out of Russian military custody though.
