Video update: Jack Welch and wife on Fox News discussing Ron Paul

Is this the new media tactic?

Don't ignore him anymore, just talk about him like as if he's quitting. WTF?

I did see one article today about the newsletters again, they really won't let that go.

@ 2:30 --- "We have kids in our house now who are absolute Ron Paul fanatics. We have their friends come over...Ron Paul has some heated, passionate, young followers."

^Maybe this is what brought his attention to RP. I'm cracking up over here. :-DDDDD

They call him "weirdly honest", say he cant win, has crazy ideas, but they want to "let him "save face", "have dignity".

Screw these ignorant clowns.

That coverage wasn't too bad. Jack and Suzy, for all their desire to see Paul out of the race seem loath to say a bad word about him. I guess that has to do with their desire to see him exit gracefully, but either way it makes for favorable media for us.

What a bunch of condescending bullshit!!!
A roll with the administration regarding monetary policy? The only sane thing he could accept is being able to push down the plunger when they demolish the fed. Other than that Ron shouldn't accept anything less. Besides all that why would he want to be part of an administration that wants to continue our current foreign policy? If Ron did that he would lose all credibility with us and Ron knows that.
All i hear from this guy is basically a public offer to buy off Ron Paul being quiet and going along with the failed system we have. They are really so asleep to reality that they still believe that our votes can be bought. The old GOP is dead, all they have left is zombies to throw up on stage. They've eaten up all tier followers brains and are now starving to death. It is only a matter of time before we hold the reigns and i think they are starting to slowly realize it.

Hey Jack, you should have stayed quiet cause now you're officially on our radar and the way your pitching this makes it extremely obvious you have allot to lose if America stops all these wars.

p.s. seriously though
I would love to hear what his kids think about what their parents are saying

In the political arena, Ron's honesty truly is a "weirdness" because all the others can be bought - Ron cannot.

They're trying to segregate. The traditional Blue V Red (Democrat V Republican) rivalry is not working with Ron Paul. So now they put young against old. Oh, those kids dont know anything. They voted for Obama before - they're naive and idealistic. Thats what's happening here. They're playing the 2 sides against each other.

So - to help them with their little "Ron Paul problem" the establishment is bringing out the "big guns" in the form of Jack Welch - who they probably see as having lots of cred with "pro-business" mainstream Republicans (i.e., Republicans who don't know the difference between "pro-business" & "pro-free-market").

And they bring on the enfeebled Welch's well-schooled-and-prepped wife to ensure the "correct" interpretation, clarification & elaboration of what Welch has to say.

I don't know what burns my cookies more ... when these jabbering yahoos diss, distort & dismiss Ron Paul, or when they insincerely pretend to "make nice."
(And even when they try to "make nice" they *still* can't resist taking jabs - like that crack about keeping RP "at the end of the hall" on foreign policy.)

Clearly, the memo has gone out: engineer a narrative about how Ron Paul is right about everything but foreign policy, plant & water the meme that Ron Paul will "exit," and prepare the way for attempts to co-opt his supporters.

Well here's another memo for the MSM & TPTB: you successfully co-opted & destroyed the Tea Party, but you will *NOT* co-opt or destroy US. NO ONE BUT PAUL!!

That was horribly condescending. Get out, but give him something so his people will vote for us still... just make sure he isn't allowed to touch anything important.

The wife's fashion statement is right out of an Austin Powers movie!

Yeah. Trying to appease Paul with a "pat on the head." Like Ari Fleischer saying Ron Paul was "funny" in the debate as if that was his main contribution.

Did I mention how revolting I find this man?...
