[VIDEO] New Commercial - "BIG DOG" - for ESPN + Other Sports Stations

I think its great for sports fans, spike TV, things like that.
I got a kick out of it.

Why do most of the women seem to know that this is a great ad, but the guys do not? ROFL
 
This is the best ad Ron Paul's had all season. It goes after exactly the right demographic in exactly the right manner. It makes cutting the budget sound 'hardened' with its quick sequences and simple vernacular. Very good work on the part of the campaign.

EDIT: We dislike it for a reason, guys! Totally intentional on the part of the campaign - that much is certain.

Showed it to my Mom, she loved it! Said it would go over really well. And remember, this is voter targeting. I have a feeling this will not run during Paula Dean's cooking show...

I think the guys who have the sports fan mentality (which I grew up around) know it's a good ad. The other guys seem to think that this is going OFC* Broadcast Network in nursing homes. :p

It seems like something REVPAC would put out.
I would prefer they replaced "little shih tzus" with "little puppies " or something. Also, it needs to be slowed down a little.

/I'm the target demographic.

I just showed it to 2 non-rp "fans"; neither of them sports fans either. Both said it was a cool ad.

edit: note: they aren't rp "fans" but both will be voting for him in their states' primary as I have wearily beaten them down over the years into submission.
 
Are there people here who actually like it themselves? Or is it all 'I don't like it but those other types will' kind of stuff?
 
I like the ad. Tries to hit the apolitical people.

I don't think it was a good idea to mention cutting departments. The target audience will be turned off by that. The rest was good.
 
OK, fine, then. If some like it. I think it will raise fears with the dept cuts and DOESN't say 'while keeping crucial promises' or anything. But hey. I hope they have others for other stations, though.
