[VIDEO] New Commercial - "BIG DOG" - for ESPN + Other Sports Stations

Hmmm not a big fan of it. Kinda makes Ron not look like a serious candidate.
 
The ad is awesome! It's hard hitting and fun, what more could you want from an ad, especially for who its targeting, espn and other sports channels.

I want to see the even more extreme uncut version before Ron Paul finally gave it the OK. Maybe they originally wanted Paul to look armed with automatic weapons - then starts firing into the Congressmen during Assembly. "RON PAUL BELIEVES GUN CONTROL IS USING BOTH HANDS!" and then that segued to the scene of blowing up the Departments. In that scene, Ron Paul was originally supposed to be shown blowing the buildings up [perhaps with something like "BUT EVERY TIME DEMOCRATS ASK RON PAUL TO BLOW UP THE DEBT, HE VOTES HELL NO!" and fire'd burn up the image, segueing to the next scene].

For the ending, Ron Paul does a drive-by on gang members selling drugs to minors and doing back-alley abortions. "RON PAUL DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK -- THAT'S JUST HOW HE ROLLS! RON PAUL -- DO IT!!" "I'm Ron Paul and I approve this message."

That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Thank you, you have made my week less frustrating.
 
I'll say that compared to the ads that were run in 2007, I can't fault the campaign for any of the ads they've run this election cycle.

All of the best ads we had in 2007 were produced by the grassroots. I've been looking back at ad spots like "Ron Paul is" and "Imagine" and "High Tide" and all of those were grassroots / C4L and not the official campaign. This time around the campaign has gotten a lot closer to capturing the spirit and the energy of the grassroots ads of '07, and I can't do anything but praise them for that.

Absolutely agree with this, I'm at odds with this latest one but the campaign has be leaps and bounds better this go around with the ads and general running of the campaign. The scary part is that last time he lasted until June iirc and maintained his base.

This is it, I generally do not come here often but have been fighting the good fight for quite some time. I like debating the issues and challenging people, as much as I love ya'll that does not happen here all that often. :) Between deployments and my current assignment I'd just rather focus my time on opening dialog and debating.

This is how I envision the beginning of this masterpiece

Scene 1: just see some hands working on wiring dynamite - it's set.

Scene 2: Cue running music. Ron Paul making a mad dash out of the building wearing all black with a badass ninja headband. Cue Heavy Metal music - He jumps down a massive flight of outside stairs, you see the building, holy crap it's the Dept of Education.....BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN! Too late...BOOOOM. "Suck it liberals"

and so on

[No liberals were harmed in the making of this televised commercial]
