[VIDEO] New Commercial - "BIG DOG" - for ESPN + Other Sports Stations

I have a feeling this ad will be better for us then we first thought. Voters really like bold, in your face moves, and this has been getting some good press. Can't wait to see what else the campaign has ready to go!

I don't like it. The Newt ad was epic and everything has been good but this seems "circus-like" if he is going to attack Trump with that kind of comment certainly they should rethink the ad. It was probably done prior to Trumps announcement but still.

I'm sorry to go off topic but you have posted 7 times since you registered? What is your main alias?

This ad is awful. It will scare the crap out of people that don't understand eliminating departments. Run the serial hypocrisy ad.

-rep. The only reason any one is afraid of eliminating departments is because they have never considered the concept before, and certainly have not dug deep enough in to the concept to feel comfortable about it.

This ad is good for all the reasons stated above this post. Do not expect people to remain scared. The truth is here right now with you and I. Fear is the turning away from truth.

this airs TODAY on ESPN and other networks. which means that it should air tonight during MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL on espn. football ratings are higher than any other tv show in the country right now. LOTS OF MEN into football will see this ad in iowa and nh. its great for thees networks.

i like the ad personally. great for the simple not too political demographic. plus you have to remember, most americans have the attention span of a puppy.

Try watching the ad without audio or listening without video. It seems to work well in noisy sports bars and broadcast on radio.
+rep for that. I tried it without the sound and you still get the whole message.
I didn't read all 12 pages, so I don't know if it has been mentioned, but this ad is just like the campaign Ford has been putting on for the last few years for their F series. Ford is back from the dead largely on the backs of the F series trucks, so it can't be that bad. I like it and can't wait to see it on ESPN. Hopefully it'll run during the commercial breaks of my Tide beating LSU for our 2nd BCS National Championship in 3 years!!!
Yeah, I mentioned this in another thread. That Ford series of commercials came immediately to mind.

That's the same demographic they're playing this ad to... sports channels. Genius.

I laughed when I watched it. I mean that in a good way, like yeaaaaah! The ad reminds me of the ad Rand ran in the Kentucky Primary accusing his opponent of hobnobbing (sp.?) in Washington and supporting bailouts. It contained animation too. IMO that ad was quite effective.

I've liked the other ads he has made.

This one contains no new content, and it's weaker the previous ones that contained the same information.

Once you realize a hefty percentage of the masses aren't even aware of the "old content", it becomes perfectly clear exactly who this ad is targeted for.

It's a good ad that perfectly suits its intended audience. An audience that we won't get if we can't gather their interest in the first place.

What an embarrassing ad. This coupled with the needlessly catty Gingrich-Trump remarks must be the work of that bush league campaign manager Jesse Benton.

This ad is perfect for Iowa. The Hawkeyes have an intro video that is almost exactly like this in it's use of a tractor trailer. It will resonate instantly with Hawkeye fans and there is around 1.5 million of them in Iowa.

I didn't know that! Great to hear!

Embarrassing Ad? You clearly do not understand the concept of marketing. You can say your ideas are right all you want but if you lack the ability to communicate them to your target audience its pointless. We all agree Americans are out of touch and have the attention spans of a nat, but that is something you have to understand and deal with. The campaign this time around I think it doing an extremely impressive job with ads and press releases and if we do well in Iowa I can only see it continuing.
