[VIDEO] New Commercial - "BIG DOG" - for ESPN + Other Sports Stations

Apparently no one on this forum has watched a game before. :o

None of the other ads can catch the attention of those viewers. This one comes on strong to grab your attention, and keeps you watching to the end.

They make it a game of numbers in a land where bigger is better. 5 departments, not 3 and not 1. Gone, not downsized. 1 Trillion dollars in 1 year, not xx Billion in 4.

As "clownlike" as some of you find it, among that audience it makes Ron seem the only serious candidate and makes them feel like talking about the others will make you a loser.

marketing is all about knowing what demographic you want to aim at and hitting the target.

this ad does that.

okay I showed this ad to my supervisor at work who is exactly the target audience 4 this ad. he loved it. especially the part about the shitsu. don't worry so much this is perfect for that particular demographic.

This ad is so Epic and Awesome. It makes Ron Paul and his ideas seem cool... which is something we are missing. You have to remember that the person that speaks the loudest gets the most attention. Its about time we spoke up!

idk. not for me but hopefully it gets absorbed by its target audience. and hopefully they arent too busy watching sports to caucus or vote.

I think this is incredible!!! haha I can't believe I have to explain to a bunch of guys how this appeals to guys. ;)

Ok when you watch sports, everything is very noisy, loud and obnoxious. If you have a normal political ad in the commercial slots, it will be ignored. This is unique enough that people will watch it and like someone pointed out, it is very similar style to the Ford truck commercials.

Or we could go back to "He's catchin' on I'm tellin' ya" if you guys think that would work better? :p

This ad is brilliant.

Think about it. It's ESPN. Who watches ESPN? It's perfect -- PERFECT for the target audience.

Very uncertain about this ad. I don't think even apolitical people are going to feel like this ad is talking to them. But I will try and reserve judgment.

Yeah, pretty much. Anyone remember 'Weightgain 3000' from South Park? The BEEFCAKE ad in that episode?

It's all about making you feel like an impotent wimp for voting for ANYONE but Ron Paul. 'YOU THINK YOU'RE A MAN? WELL VOTE FOR RON PAUL OR ELSE EVERYONE WILL KNOW YOU Have A 2 INCH PENIS'. You won't believe how many guys buy into that stuff. It's perfect for that target audience.

YEAAHHH! Time to smoke the little ShiT(zu)s outta Washington!

It's a good ad for the target audience, I just don't get why they're going after that demographic.

This ad is GREAT.

Think about it, when ESPN goes to a commercial break right after Ndamukong Suh flattens Tom Brady with a crushing hit, people are going to be fired up and excited. A dark and dreary political ad would just turn them off. An ad like this feeds off of that adrenaline.

We got winner!

This ad is great for the markets that it's targeting. Not sure why people are against it. I can definitely see this going over well on a sports channel. Sorry guys, we're going to have to target "middle America" if we want to win the primaries/election.
