This movement needs to be more tolerant...

Why uncalled for... un needed ridicule and alianation... antagonism is not a way to win people to the movement.

Wasn't intended to be antagonistic at all. It was a metaphor. Antagonism is in itself a relative expression; it can only be perceived by an individual. Apparently, you felt antagonized. And to that: grow thicker skin.

Support for maccain came as a respone not a thread about campaigning for mccain.

I understand. Like I said, I was just responded to a post you made.

the logic that I have already "presented" is enough for me. Im not tryin to convert anyone.. I am not being the antagonist.. I am simply calling for the movement t be more tolorant of people with differing opinions and work a little smarter... throwing snowballs at sean hanity worked out well didn't it...

Agreed on the Hannity thing. Completely uncalled for and makes folks like you and me look collectively like idiots.

But, again, I'm actually really hoping you do present evidence and logic towards voting for McCain. There's a growing swell of "liberty lovers" out there; whether they're on this site or not, they are definitely out there. You have the potential to swing the election for McCain if you can find that logical "magic bullet" to convince them. It's a tall task; you can't just "I think/I feel" your way through this. It has to be extremely logical, very fact based, and very POLICY based.

You have the podium and an EXCELLENT opportunity to support your candidate on this forum. Please show us.

I don't have a Magic bullet... Were is your evidence that voting third party will do any good? where is the proof.

As I stated earlier, in quantum physics "Laws" of physics don't always act the same...

I'm not out to win the "Liberty Movement" over. I simply statedwhat I am doing.

As I said the issue i am discussing now is the supreme court... tell me how supporting a 3rd party will mke the supreme court better off.

Depending on how ones point of view... my "logic" and reasoning is no worse than yours. I see no evidence for the things you are saying... you are only challenging what i say...

well where is your evidence that it is better to support a 3rd party... and let me ask... who are you supporting? do yu agree with EVERYTHING they advocate?

The ANGRIEST group of people right now, in this country, are Women's groups, Liberals, and Anti-war Groups.

If we continue to alienate them, especially with promotion of traditional values and social conservatism and continued war mongering or defense of war mongering candidates, this isn't going anywhere.

It's in the proles, you morons. The revolution is in the liberals. Change them, they are listening, and they want to understand, but they are far more passionate then the lay-thinking couch potato conservatives on this fucking forum.

Well, i can see this is settled, and you're voting 3rd party then?

please oh pretty please vote 3rd party...we need you. please please pretty please don't vote for JM, he'll only break your heart, and maybe i can get the board to put up a chip in to buy your 3rd party vote?

yawn.

have you seen the movie V FOR VENDETTA ?...would you consider this movie a NAZI propaganda film, endthefed?

Tolerance is EXACTLY what got this country into the messes it's in.

This is NOT TRUE!!!!!!

Our founding fathers HAD to be tolorent and find the common ground that they could agree on.. and work together where they could...

Our declration of independance an our constitution were compromises...

Definitely, so grow thicker skin.

I know you're trying to turn this around. But, I posed the question to you first. Please answer. We're all trying to understand you.

the logic that brought me to this point

Ron Paul said something to the effect of, "the most important thing for us to do, is to elect moral/principled people to office." (highly paraphrased, sorry).
When I heard that, it didn't stick at first. The missing piece came later..
I have also heard a quote something like "the morality of a people will be reflected in their elected leaders".
Over the last year or less (for me), I have been shown the truth. Thanks to RP.
Think about his example of decades of principled integrity. Did he vote with the party for the lesser of 2 evils? If he had, would this forum exist?
We are winning. But it won't happen overnight.

Believe me, I am standing alone in my world. My whole extended family, basically everybody I know, says you HAVE to vote for the lesser of 2 evils (LOTE)!
The problem is, I know the truth. I know both parties are CORRUPT and IMMORAL.
I can compromise my principles and vote for the LOTE, but guess where that will get me...
Supporting leaders who are corrupt, unprincipled and immoral. I will get what I deserve.
NO
I will do like RP. I will vote on principle. I will not compromise those principles and will not tolerate politicians who do.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO COMPROMISE YOUR PRINCIPLES TODAY OR ELECTION DAY, YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW.
I assume because you are HERE that your motives are pure.
What I wrote above is my logic for voting 3rd party (Baldwin).
I hope it helps.
We have become a nation of spineless compromisers. SOMEBODY HAS GOT TO STAND UP!

"Duty is ours; results are God's." ~John Quincy Adams

"If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made not for the public good so much as for the selfish or local purposes;

"Corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded.
~Noah Webster

Which is why he is quoted for eternity in my signature saying it... because it is exactly what I felt about this tool. An intolerant idiot. Nothing else need be said... he has said it himself.

I'm not removing it either.

Very true, but if you want us to support your candidate, you have to go down to the reasons why someone thinks or feels about that candidate. Express those reasons; defend those reasons. It's all in the name of civil discourse, and as you espoused earlier, educating the populace.

You have that opportunity. You have that opportunity to support John McCain here. Tell us why he will make a great president. We're right here, we're listening.

skin is a relative term too...

Mmm Gotta get back to work....

You obiously have no real desire to undestand my position... tat is all a sham.

Of course it's TRUE. What planet are you posting from?

And the US federal government has continued "compromising" ever since then.

TADA!!!! Here we are. :p  How do you like it?

Ron Paul is a REPUBLICAN and CHOSE to stay in it and try to reform it...

Hmmmmm

And again, I'm sorry if I made you feel antagonized or belittled. It was not my intent.

You're missing out on a great opportunity to support your candidate; you have an active thread. Please, I beg you to tell us with facts and a logic chain why we should support your candidate, John McCain.

Kade..come on. Secular Progressives hate the founding fathers, they hate the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. They fear the 10th amendment. They fear the American Dream. They are COMMUNISTS for goodness sake and so are the neo cons. TONES
