I thought Rand was still supposed to be on the ballot in all 50 states. He isn't, in yours?
He's not running.

Here are 501 bills and amendments Cruz has sponsored and co-sponsored.

Still... he kinda sunk rand paul.
Rands not absolved from blame for the low poll results, but without cruz, rand would still be in the race.
Couldn't have done it more obnoxiously either. Having had known for probably 2 years prior that Rand was going to run, and knowing well ahead of time the exact date Rand planned to announce, Cruz announced one week before without even giving Rand the courtesy of prior notice. Cruz never had a shot and he probably knew it, which makes the act all the more odious.
I suspect that Cruz was paid to tank Rand's campaign. He is, after all, married into Goldman Sachs. Having abdicated the Audit the Fed vote was a major tell as to where he really stands.
Trump is the only candidate effectively or proposing to:
- deal with trade in-balances that have created high unemployment and driven out manufacturing and jobs. Check.
- deal with mass immigration and open borders that for American citizens has driven down wages and created high unemployment. Check.
- allow health care competition across state lines. - Proposed by Rand/Ron. Check.
change US foreign policy and is calling out the Neocons on foreign intervention more effectively than Ron/Rand. Check.
- end the Democratic and news media tool of using political correctness to control the political process. Check.

I agree. I just can't fathom the love for Trump I'm seeing here.
Trump is a step in the right direction.

I really think people are projecting onto him what they want to believe. Obama benefitted from that same phenomenon. It must have something to do with self-promotion skills. I have seen absolutely ZERO evidence that Trump would be a step in a better direction. I think that's just plain fantasy.
I'm not sure it's as much love for Trump as it is hatred towards the establishment. Trump is burning it down at the moment.
I see a lot of WWE style theatrics between Trump and the establishment. But where's the evidence of any actual damage he's done to it or portends to do?
The fact that he has neutralized it:
The fact that he has neutralized it:
The establishment propaganda arm, er "media" has lost it's ability to control the narrative.
The establishment propaganda arm, er "media" has lost it's ability to influence the polls.
Big establishment money has failed to propel their chosen puppets into the lead.
Bush dropped out.
Rubio has no chance.
QED
Fact? lol
It appears that way to me. His numbers keep going up. What am I missing?
I don't see that. I see Trump as the front runner to be the next president, running on a platform of accruing ever more power to the executive branch of the federal government, and see no reason to think that the establishment will have any difficulty working with him to achieve that common goal.
The fact that he and the establishment that you want to pit him against are bosom buddies?
