Should nudity be allowed?

I have always wondered how our society got to be the way it is about nudity. If you go to some places in New Guinna, it is common to see nude people and nobody thinks anything of it.

I tend to believe it is a learned attitude.

It is, but that fact doesn't prove the ideas on less important.
All attitudes are learned, all societies are really competitions in ideas.
This is really the war we are fighting.
But on our side, we agree, that if you leave me alone, i'll leave you alone.
And when that line is crossed is the only time government steps in.

I agree....though, Adam and Eve were a little freaked once they realized they were nekked:

"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons." -Genesis 3:7

so I think it's a bit of a mix of things.

So quite naturally, we must think it was their ability to discern between what is good and what is evil that caused them to think that way. So if there was no ability to distinguish good from evil, then there would be no problem with nudity. Just as it was before they had eaten of the fruit of that tree. So does that mean when man fell from grace, nudity became a bad thing? And does it also mean, when man again assumes a state of grace, nudity will no longer be thought to be a bad thing?

It could also mean that god intended us to be ignorant, and when we gained knowledge we offended him.

I didn't say everything had to be private, but you will have to tolerate the common good on public grounds.
So if the public thinks you car model is unfit to ride on the roads because of whatever reason, then you will not be able to drive on it.
For the common good means majorities will.
Public Roads come with a big price tag if you ask me.

Well, I don't think any laws are justified if said act doesn't cause me physical harm (that might include financial). So I would just let it be up to individuals to shame the offending parties. No government involvement required.

As I said before, it was probably more the deliberate violation of the command not to eat from that tree that caused His wrath.

yeh, but they say the tree of knowledge, its an obvious symbol. you eat the fruit, then you "know" you are naked.
You have to "know" your wife for humanity to live.

every woman the man knows is his wife.
that is why the marriage is not sealed until consumated under religious tradition.
I'm not saying this is my belief- no where close, but this is a very reasonable interpretation of genesis.
