RIP Jessiecat
We just lost our oldest cat. she had been with us over 16 years since before we were married.
She had a litter years ago, but had been fixed. She was the house mother to every new cat that came to our house.
She has spent the last few days on my lap, she wasn't getting around well. We knew it was getting time.
She went out yesterday to sit in the sun, and then took a walk.
I went looking for her this morning.
She will be missed.

They can do that. :)
I have a house full of critters, most were not collected by me, but they all seem to attach themselves to me.
I am the one to bury them when they go. I have done so before and will again. It is never "easy".

And it messes with my gruff outlaw persona. :p

There is a lotta love in this house, for both the two and four legged creatures. ;)

A grown-up mantid from the ones my dad and I hatched at the beginning of the summer. Cool huh.

Neat,
I had a pet Wolf Spider once. My wife won't allow "bug" pets.
And it is my job to keep them out of the house, but I observe them around the farm. And I learn from them. ;)

I've been contemplating getting another puppy sometime soon. Thinking about a rottie or doberman mix. But in the meantime, here's my bitch :p
