Ron Paul will be on Wolf Blitzer (10/17/11) - toady

I think this is the first time I ever heard him use the phrase "As President, ..."

Yeah, but Ron used "radical" first. He wins.

I felt the same way. It was intentional for Ron Paul to throw out radical first regarding the current economic policy as he knew they would be using the word radical to discredit his plan.

Wolf is a POS.

RP should only do shows where the interviewer is at least neutral, not a die hard liberal fascist pig like Wolf who cries over getting rid of inefficient government jobs that don't produce one damn thing to our economy yet adds to our debt. Government jobs, in general, are a waste and drain on financial resources.

What the hell does the Department of Energy have to do with our nuclear stockpile?

When the Department of Energy was created in 1977 it absorbed other departments that were in charge of nuclear weapons development and maintenance. Historically, the Manhattan project became part of the Atomic Energy Commission, which became the Energy Research and Development Administration, which was then folded into the new Department of Energy.

Since Nukes are military weapons, they should be overseen by the defense dept.

You could organize it anyway you want. There tends to be a culture clash between scientists and the military though.

At first, they were under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

that was awesome,
wolf was fucking trying HARD to trip Dr.Paul up but he failed.

I officially loathe Wolf Blitzer. I know he was an idiot, always has been (see his performance on celebrity Jeopardy), but he's a good old fashion asshole. He was a jerk in the debate, but this interview was smear journalism. Sean Hannity gives far better interviews than this, this was on par with O'Reilly.
