Ron Paul on Meet the Press (12/11/11)

Iowa's governor is on MSNBC right now and giving a shout out to Ron Paul. He says the economy is the number one issue in Iowa. He said Ron Paul had the guts to put forth an economic plan to do what is needed. (I am paraphrasing, of course)

He says it is still a wide open race. That the front-runner has changed many times and can again. That many people have still not made up their mind. People are looking for the strongest and best candidate who can beat Obama.

sexy talk, please keep the online porn to a minimum:) rongasms:)

It really irritates me how they insist on questions that focus around him not getting the nomination
"Who will you endorse (since you're not going to win?)"
"Will you endorse a libertarian (once you lose)?"
"Will you run as an independent or third party (since you're not going to win obviously)?"
"Between the two who will actually win, who is the more consistent conservative (we realize you are but...you won't win)?"

Why can't he just call them out on this blatant bullshit.

What the fuck bullshit interview is this? Debate analysis about newt and romney......fucking poorest interview of an individual I have ever seen.

Because he may go independent.

fair enough. i just dont see the benefit in doing that. even without running and making republicans hate him and use him as a scapegoat for allowing obama to stay, we wont vote for anyone else anyone. i think he doesnt need to run third to keep us from voting for someone else

Governor of Iowa was asked if RP had a chance for an upset in Iowa. He said that RP was a "consistent conservative" and was very strong on the economy, but that he was concerned about his foreign policy. He said that he had a huge following; especially with young people. But, that the college students would be on Christmas break on January 3, the date of the Caucus.

Gregory mentioned that RP had a huge Twitter following. 55% positive and only 15% negative.

Ron's contacts in the Iowa GOP need to get in contact with the Governor. Set the groundwork for a meeting between Ron and the Governor.

yes there has been official threads. i posted one yesterday morning. this i know is official. i am the official official thread poster who makes them about 2 times a year. i dont over do it like some on here so that makes mine more legitimate. ron paul im sure would approve.
angela there has always been sarcasm in the official and unofficial threads. so either one is just folks being sarcastic at many levels!! There has never been an official or unofficial threads officially;)

Oh man I love it....when Ron Paul like the interviewer and it's been a fair interview he says "Thank you Neil" at the end....when he is pissed off he says "you're welcome"

Even if he was pissed, he didn't show it. Huge smile. Probably feels good about the awesome performance at the debate last night. Go Ron!

the third party question is just getting ridiculous now. i used to just laugh it off but this time it really pissed me off. f off david.

Get used to it. That Ron might split and go third party forces other GOP candidates to not open up full bore on him, because they don't want to risk being the one to force him to bolt. Believe me, that's a gigantic advantage right now.

But the price of it is being asked the question, and never quite closing the door on it.

David Gregory is getting slammed on Twitter
yeah, We're slamming NBC/Gregory & Company on the BS interview.

Ron should just say, if your going to ask me about running as a third party and play this analytical support the other candidates, then don't bother with the interview.

NBC's Newt-Romney "THANKSGIVING" stuffing from beginning to end was ridiculous.

Yeah, that goes way back. It's a RPF inside joke...I can't remember, who started with the "official" threads?

Edit: the official "official" poster reveals himself. ;)

Hah!!!! He's getting great at handling these morons!

"which one best represents the views of smaller government and reigning in spending?"

None of my opponents do! I'm the only one really offering real reforms!

Bwahahahahaha!!!
