Wow... good coverage and it let him show his smarts. Too bad no one watches fox business. >.<

Smokin!!!

smokin?? That was the biggest bummer of an interview I've ever heard in my entire life..

Seriously, what are you on man? Dr. Paul just waxed poetic for six plus minutes on DOOMS DAY shit and you think that makes for a smokin interview? You honestly think talk like that framed in the way he presented his case rallies support from the average listener??

The man is so politically inept sometimes I honestly don't know what to say. Great interview my arse.. that interview just gave Obama 20 new votes because guess what Obama is selling: Hope.. and guess what Dr. Paul is selling.. The end of the world and no solution for it (The man couldn't even offer a way out except to say "cut spending".

Jesus...

forgive us, all knowing one, for celbrating a politial leader that will not blow honey flavored smoke up our arses.

why are you even here? I've read your past posts and all they seem to do is verbally beat down other posters here. that, or praise Obama. who are you a supporter of?

Dr. Paul doesn't have to sell anything. All he tells is the truth. Sadly the truth is an UGLY beast in this situation. But it's up to those of us who are awake to deal with the problem instead of burying our heads in the sand and praying it goes away.

don't completely discount the fact that his expertise on the subject would draw in people as well. Not everyone is looking for hope as much as they are looking for real answers. RP isn't going to sell hope when there is almost none, i don't know why you started supporting RP but i was in love with the fact that the man would speak the truth no matter what.

That was definitely a great video.

If you ask me, seems like the media is starting to give him mroe and more attention. He was on Neil Cavuto about the same thing...

I think the MSM is starting to enjoy putting him on mroe because he generates viewers when he's on - and more viewers = more money.

Ahhhh... money can be a wonderful thing at times!

An observer of the 1960 presidential race was convinced that Kennedy would get about 75% of the vote based on the enthusiasm for him--until he realized that people would stand out in the rain to hear Nixon. He realized that quiet people vote, too. As it was, Nixon actually got a slightly larger number of popular votes than Kennedy.

02/28/2008:
Ron Paul: "We are already in a recession."

02/28/2008:
George Bush: "I don't think we are headed to recession."

We'll see who is right.

I have to agree that Dr. Paul was absolutely correct and his answers and inability to articulate even the bare bones of a plan is exactly the reason we are not heading to Minnesota to nominate him for President.

He is as tone deaf as . . . . . someone who is tone deaf. It's not enough to be smart or to be correct in the diagnosis. For a doctor, the man is pretty absent any therapeutic plan. Yes, cutting spending is fine. But he needs to do that four point plan or six point plan and shove it in there anytime someone gets him talking about the economy. Here he has a news person who completely agrees with him and yet he cannot close the deal with the viewers. Sickening. And I am a big supporter.

WRITER YOUR DARN ECONOMIC PLAN ON AN INDEX CARD AND INSERT IT IN EVERY STINKING INTERVIEW YOU EVER DO!

We can criticize McCain all we want to, but at least he's stupid and realizes it so that he stays on message. How many times has he said "radical Islamic fundamentalism"? About a zillion. He is trying to scare people and bring them to his view of the war. Dr. Paul is trying to tell the truth, scare people, then leave them dangling over the abyss.

Agree with all above.

Plus, it was the perfect message for his audience - Fox Business. The exchange floor broke out in applause yesterday when he spoke to Bernanke. They want some to paint the correct picture so we all don't end up reliving 1929.

Beck seems also to find an audience with a more realistic discussion of the economy (though shameful he of course neglects Paul's position yesterday)

While I think you're a little harsh here, I don't think that's a bad suggestion. He really does need to advertise his actual economic plan.
