*READ THIS* The Whole Story So Far

Some newbies are claiming they are in touch with the OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN.

Tru dat.

This entire subforum started with people screeching that Dr. Paul was excluded from the Faux DEBATE. Then it was pointed out the actual NH debate was on ABC and Dr. Paul was still attending.

Now there are a bunch of monikers with less than 100 posts that registered in this month passing along their "inside info".

Very suspicious. Could easily be trolls from other campaigns or even Faux news (wouldn't put it past them).

Then entire thing started with an AP wire feed story that was just reprocessed and regurgitated multiple times thru various other media.

There IS NO listing for this forum event on any candidate site schedule or on the Faux or TV guide sites. This ARE many sites with the ABC debate listed and scheduled.

Faux news is bad, but this reaction could easily backfire or at least take time away from the real grassroots campaign work.

I am EXTREMELY DISTURBED at all the "in the know" posters on this thread. They have JUST joined the forums.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Too much false information being introduced by one newbie , then backed by another newbie, then backed by a campaign elite that lo and behold...is a newbie. I think admins need to check out the IP's on these.

Tru dat.

Could even be one individual with multiple accounts.

I don't know about the rest, but I am an active member of the Grand Rapids Ron Paul meetup group, I take great exception if you are infering anything about me.

No, Cap. Some people have registered within the last few days then started posting like they were super secret insiders.

Brunner is a district coordinator for the campaign and is as real as you can get. I will personally vouch for him. He already received confirmation from people close to the campaign last night that there is indeed a forum and that Ron Paul has been excluded.

Confirmation from the admin would be needed then.

Jeez, guys, come on. It's simple. I claimed to blog for LewRockwell.com, right?

Lew Rockwell is Ron Paul's former Chief of Staff, right?

So, if this is true, there would be blog posts by me on LewRockwell.com, right?

And there are... So, each of these blog posts has a little link with my name that's hyperlinked to the email address of the Chris Brunner who blogs for Lew Rockwell, right?

So email me at the address on LewRockwell.com! I'll respond right away.

If you still have doubts after that, I really can't help you.

It's pretty obvious and very clear, we go forward with the fight. Fox News picked it, let's finish it.

Oh please quit it with the "newbie" conspiracy comments already (at least the ones directed at myself and Chris Brunner). We are just trying to find out the facts. I've given a fortune to Ron Paul and related causes.

I agree -- We should not let this Fox crap distract us from the final organization for Iowa and New Hampshire.

- AP have a responsibility to retract the Dec 27th wire if it is false.

- Fox News has a responsibility to acknowledge the debates time and location if they are true.

I'd appreciate less crap directed at us (myself and Brunner) for our efforts on this thread; personally I am more than willing to discuss the facts, as will see if you just look at my comments. Chris and I have been up for days studying this whole mess. Chris is a columnist at Lew Rockwell (google "Chris Brunner LRC"). He has been in contact with Ron Paul campaign, NH GOP, etc. I am involved in organizing, and if you pm me I will provide meetup references. If you look at my other posts, many are involved with organizing for Iowa and NH.

Facts and sensible discussions will prevail over the propagation of nonsense, so let's please not attack each other without reasons. You can always tell the trolls because the propagate nonsense rather than fact, and they are stubborn to new information. I certainly do not think this applies to myself or Brunner despite our short time on this board.

By all means, let's focus on Iowa and NH and stun these hopeless pundits.

I'm astounded at the over suspicious nature of certain people here.

Okay, add to what I posted above:

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/17758

"CANDIDATE FORUM - JANUARY 6th (Unconfirmed)
The New Hampshire Republican Party is sponsoring a forum for Republican presidential candidates on Jan. 6, two days before the state's first-in-the-nation primary.

Unlike a debate, the candidates will face questions from Chris Wallace around a table in a studio on the campus of St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H. The 90-minute encounter will air live beginning at 8 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel and on Fox News Radio." -Jane Aitken

So regardless of the outcome, we are not wrong to be seeking the facts. AP possibly owes a retraction. FOX owes an official statement regarding this Jan 6 forum. NH GOP / Fergus Cullen owes everyone an official statement.

This quote states that N.H. has the "first in the nation" primary.

And that isn't true.

Iowa is on Jan. 3rd.

Is the Fox News NH GOP forum/debate live or televised?
Good question: I don't know. Fox has 'officially' said nothing, though there is much evidence they were planning to hold this forum.

What time?
The SeattlePI Dec 27th AP release says "5PM." The Yahoo Dec 27th AP release and most of the other copies of the wire say "8PM". The 'unconfirmed' information from Jane Aitkens/NH via NH GOP said "8PM". The majority of these AP wires say "8PM". Keep in mind there are are 5000 television and radio AP affiliates.

Ron Paul is the closing speaker at the Liberty Forum on the 6th
Yes, according to online calenders.

Does he have a conflict in schedule anyway?

No, not from the currently available information. Ron Paul is indeed speaking at the Liberty Forum on Sunday January 6th. The closing ceremony is scheduled from "12:00PM - 1:30PM" so it would not conflict with either of two debate times mentioned above.

Schedule Of Events: Free State Project (aka Liberty Forum schedule)

O.K. Thanks for the clarifications! I've been trying to get back on libertyforum.org but it is loading very slowly.

And, if it is taped, do we want Ron participating? So we assume it is live I guess?

Fox hasn't put out a statement. Nothing is on their website, in terms of programming confirmation.

NH GOP hasn't put out a statement.

All we have to go by is from Jane, who appears to be losing her marbles (in my opinion) over on dailypaul.com

I'd rather the information be confirmed by someone who appears more rational than she. That's what I prefer anyway...
