*READ THIS* The Whole Story So Far

TIMES ARE NOT THE SAME!

brunch is brunch: 11:00 AM start i believe with Dr. Paul attending at least part of the event.

Fox Forum is Fox Forum: scheduled for 8:00 pm eastern start.

The moral of the story is GO TO NH AND MAKE SURE WE WIN.

See you there.

And, the moral of the story is to put the NHGOP and their faux contracts under a very big microscope and let the people of NH know they are being 'fauxed' before the primaries through their local papers.

I'm sure local papers would love this story: Even though Ron Paul is ahead of Thompson in the NH polls, he was not invited to this televised forum. His supporters think he was excluded because he is the only peace candidate, talks openly about bringing our troops home from around the world and restoring our Constitution.

He's got to be ahead of Thompson in the NH polls. Anyone have recent poll results?

heh.

The point is that big business in the form of FOX news is trying to pick the candidate to win the NH Presidential primary by exclusion. And, if the news above, about the NHGOP signing a contract with FOX giving them discretion to choose who will participate, is true, then the NH GOP are complicitous.

I was reading somewhere else that many of the bigwigs at FOX gave to Hillary's campaign.
True or not, you can see how easily a big media for Hilary might want to manipulate the primary of the other party to pick a candidate that would lose to her in the national election.

This is not just looking like dirty hands, it's looking totally filthy.

Are they planning to give us our choice between a woman in pants and a man in a dress this time? I can hardly wait!

Rupert Murdoch is supporting Hitlary. There's some website that logs the donations of famous people to political campaigns. He's given his max to Clinton.

Very astute analysis on the "choices" they are trying so hard to engineer. I was looking at Fox's site, last night, and all attention was given to Giuliani, Huckabee, Romney, Clinton, Obama & Edwards. Notice how all of them have, essentially, the same policies (Obama being the least pro war).

Fuck Fox. Let's destroy them. It may take a while, but we can do it. Even the lefties can get on board with this, lol.

I wish i could go! Sadly its 2000 miles away :(

a quick question, what the hell is with the nolanchart story? do people actually consider that site a source for accurate info? i dont follow the site except for the last 48 hours, and honestly i have only seen innacurate, unintelligent, and adolescent writing on that site. Including satire masquerading as actual "news" reporting. It baffles my mind why people read that story, cant even see the errors both in it and the sources it links to, and then come here and are so skeptical of the other stories listed here? Clearly many dont apply their skepticism to nolanchart. Is nolanchart beyond reproach? Do they have an immaculate reputation of integrity in online journalism? I would doubt that, because i just signed up as a contributer ( :D Im not sure i should have said that)

(feel free to tell me to remove this post)

William Westmiller (NolanChart) is no hole-in-the-wall libertarian blogger, he's the one collecting your dues money at national RLC (Republican Liberty Caucus) headquarters. Ron Paul is past president of the caucus and current head of its political action committee. Not an inauspicious connection.

So I am not in a hurry to suspect his story as fictitious, especially since it fits best with known facts.

So I am not in a hurry to suspect his story as fictitious, especially since it fits best with known facts.

Except it doesn't. He didn't talk to Fox, the NH GOP, or the campaign. He assumed he knew what events were being discussed based on other information, even though the dates didn't line up, and credited that discrepancy to 1st party sources (who again, he hadn't talked to) being confused and wrong.

The NH GOP is stating this event is being planned and Ron is excluded. That is a known fact, and Westmiller's story doesn't fit with it one bit.

The existence of the Fox "forum" and its exclusion of Dr. Paul seems to be confirmed by this story ( with Cyclone177 ) from Fox affliiate station KPTM in Western Iowa.

http://www.kptm.com/Global/category.asp?C=102582&nav=menu606_1

Fox seems to be trying to avoid confrontation by waiting to announce this officially at the last minute. Or maybe they haven't received confirmations from the other candidates. Who knows. Of course that means they will have fewer viewers tuning in than if they had started promoting it already. :D

To those who figured out i was updating the original post, I wont be doing so unless major changes happen. I hope the effort and staying up 64 of the last 72 hours helped. Its been a blast, looking forward to the next story we help break.

Do your part to help get Ron Paul elected. I did this because i was looking for a way to help Ron Paul, and since i dont have a lot of money and dont live anywhere near IOWA or NH. The whole world is watching and supporting Ron Paul, lets not let him down.

Thanks to all and GOOD NIGHT!

Noland Chart RETRACTS their article which had falsely claimed 'There is no Jan 6 debate'. Their Saturday night story was crap.

Fox has continued to remain silent since the AP wire ran last Thursday.

Please put pressure on FOX news for a statement regarding their Jan 6th evening forums, and about the Dec 27th AP wire. .

Thank God that the fact Brunner, Billy, and myself didn't stay up all weekend for nothing! So all that crap about Paul's campaign being wrong is BS because the Noland Chart article was wrong.. WorldNetDaily has also been exposed for the vicious bias of their article which had no basis in fact.

Remember, let's focus on winning the primaries. We got almost $30k for Call 4 Paul yesterday. We are doing fantastic, let's just keep it up. The Iowa race is wide open. We need to do everything we can. If you want to contact the trash that is Fox News, by all means do so. Their disinformation and silence has been exposed. Call them and ask why they have issued no statement since last Thursday's AP wire.

Chris Brunner has published a great Fox contact list up on his site at http://chrisbrunner.com

Cheers all, and Happy New Year

Ron Paul indeed Out-Foxed (for now)
by Jason George

Fergus Cullen, chairman of the New Hampshire State Republican Committee, confirmed Sunday evening to the Tribune that, yes, there will be a televised Fox News presidential candidate forum on Jan. 6, and yes, Rep. Ron Paul was not invited when the other candidates were a week or so ago.

"My understanding is that five candidates to that point had been offered spots but the event is still coming together," Cullen said.

The candidates invited to the forum/debate – whatever you want to call it – will be Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. John McCain, Gov. Mitt Romney and Sen. Fred Thompson.

Cullen said the event, which is set to take place two days before the New Hampshire primary, will be held in the afternoon or evening at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H. When asked if Fox News, which is co-sponsoring the debate with the NH party, planned to invite Paul later, Cullen said he didn't know.

"It's really premature. Just the other day candidates started to accept invitations."

On Saturday, Paul called Fox News "scared of me." They "don't want my message to get out, but it will," according to The Boston Globe's Primary Source blog.

"They are propagandists for this war and I challenge them on the notion that they are conservative."

On Sunday night, Paul spokesman Jesse Benton said the campaign remains angry, and in the dark.

"We have not heard anything else today," he said. "[Fox] continues to ignore our calls."

I'm confused.

Is there a Jan 6 debate on FoxNews in which Ron Paul has been excluded?

Yes. It's a "forum" and Ron Paul has not been invited. Many sites picked up a story from NolanChart.com that was flat out wrong. NolanChart has now retracted, but WorldNetNews and Alex Jones are still running false stories that are causing confusion. If you want to be a part of the solution, please see this thread.
