Rand Paul on Wolf Blitzer CNN 4:30 pm ET (12/9) - Official Thread.

I like how Rand stays calm and cool but his cadence is that of a robot. He always seems in "professional" mode which is not bad, but I'd love to see him loosen up

Rand defended his dad well here. The one thing Ron and Rand excel at is never creating needless drama. The media constantly tries to get them to choose sides, or fling shit at someone and they wont ever take the bait, because they are better than that.

However, the one thing that did bother me about Ron when he was on Cavuto a few days ago, is he asked Ron if he would ever support Newt, and Ron was like [paraphrasing] 'Ehhhhh well...i mean, he seems to be kinda changing a bit to how i see things....he did talk about the Fed needing an audit and some other things, sooooooooo...if he were to change and be serious about that i would definitely think about it'. I mean, cmon now  Ron knows deep down that Newt is a spineless bastard and goes against 95% of everything he stands for, so why not just be honest about it and say something like Peter King did recently. I hated seeing that, because it's almost as if it was some 'technical endorsement' or something, for a guy everyone here can't stand the sight of, and who Ron really doesn't like at all.

You like Ron because he doesn't sling mud, then you hated it when he didn't sling mud?

I think we need to start hinting that Rand would be Ron's choice for VP.
I'd actually like it if he were.

But I think it would really help the last of the "neo con" crowd to come around. Think of it. They would feel like we gave a little ground. They could tell themselves "well, Rand will check Ron's foreign policy problems. He'll be strong."

When people change their minds they really need to feel like they didn't change their minds. Rand Paul on the ticket would let them do it.
"Paul/Paul - 2012"!

No no, not necessarily. He points out his flaws and all, but i wish he would take more of a 'negative approach' when asked about supporting him or endorsing him in the future, without taking to any name calling, a la Trump or something to that effect. Here, let me give ya an example:

Go to 3:00 here:

This is the approach i wish Ron would take.

Go Rand Go. Every time I see Wolf interview Ron Paul he asks about a third party run, so I'm not shocked he used the same question on Rand. Good answers. :D

omg!! i have never such a strong urge to bitch-slap Trump. i would love to see his reaction when Ron does win.

He seems pretty natural to me, but he's always careful with his words and that's a double positive.

This is How Rand helps us win. He has more Tea Party cred than any other elected official in the US Gov't. He can call out the posers like Newt.

"I find thee unworthy". Rand to Newt. ;)

Rand is already on record as stating he will support the Republican nominee.

Yeah, it figures that a Republican Senator would support the nominee from his own party. He actually wants a chance to be the GOP nominee some day. Ron Paul would probably be at 20-30% in the polls if he said that he would support the eventual GOP nominee. All this 3rd party talk kills Ron's chances.

Ron Paul did say he would support the eventual GOP nominee if they were for sound money, peace, and real cuts in spending. The problem is that Ron is the only conservative Republican in the race.
