That we have the third-party card in our hand is mighty powerful protection against full-on assault by any other campaign. Nobody wants to run the risk of chasing Ron out of the party, and losing to Obama as the result.

The price of that protection, however is constantly having to answer the question, and never quite shutting the door.

Rand is such a smooth speaker compared to Ron. I honestly think if Rand was running instead of Ron we would be 20+% nationally and within 1-2% of the lead in Iowa and NH
