lol at the elderly gentleman at the end. It really is all about how you spin it.
I had a young man in class during finals week submit a project on his organization he created to get higher wages at Wal-mart and McDonalds. It was a peer-review project, and I submitted a very respectful and detailed 1000 word review asking for further explanation on how companies were going to come up with the funds to pay workers nearly double wages. All I could literally get out of him was "You apparently would like a return to a labor force like one that existed in the 1920's. Just like the other pure capitalists, you would be mistaken."
Their only defense is an emotional one and it's a battle of words and mental imagery. His project was wrought with poor families and the evil corporations that were enslaving these families. Yes, he likened it to slavery.
