okay, fine.... you're probably right but, in the spirit of this thread, your just bringing down the mood.
All we're saying is it would be a badass ticket, and we should push for it to happen, even though as ron paul has said, it's very unlikely.
do you deserve to run for office?????
Lets be totally honest. 911 truth is polarizing and would keep any ticket from actually winning. It could gain alot of ground but it would not win. Ventura shot himself inthe foot with coming out with what he believes. I support his bravery to say those things but politically speaking, it isnt smart.
the better ticket and the only one that would work as far as ballot access would be to replace Barr as Pres and move him to VP and have a Paul/Barr ticket. THe LP will have nearly 48 to 49 states. I am not a fan of Barr but with Paul at the top of the ticket, this would earn my vote.
No, speaking what you believe is very smart. Why? You are sticking to your beliefs. Even if it hurts you politically you are doing the right thing!
yes they would win,,Paul / Ventura or Ventura / Paul ticket with Pero somehow being involved and of course the constitution party,Libertarian Party and independent and green party all involved...Patriot summit and working for a common cause for a real chance to turn this country around and have a 3rd party win........why would all these people not work as one?
surely it is a far better thing than Obama or Mcncheese
Thats the motto of those that can accomplish no real change. Ive been down this road and have come to a much more mature position. I want change and if it means that I will get half of what I want, then I will take it.
Agreed!
but do Ron and Jesse know that?!
So why are you here?
Ron isn't causing any real change by being the lone NO.
Ron doesn't compromise and give the democrats a little to get a little.
He doesn't sneak in items to House bills to get a piece of his.
What you have written is everything this movement is NOT.
You want to be a truther. Fine. I know your not going anywhere, and thats great. Where I find it laughable is when your complete dissalusion turns a fairly sane conversation into your more quioxitic fairy tales of what will never be. Jesse Ventura didn't run for senate and wont run for president because his running of the mouth about 911 truth.
I represent the future of this movement. The people who will get done what the idealist do not have the stomach to do. Ron is a figure and now that he has left the cult of personality that we built is dying. The movement has split into three major camps. The "quitters", the baldwins, and the "Barrs" and congratulations....none of you will accomplish anything.
NOt until we set aside the petty differences and come together on a set of realistic goals will this movement accomplish anything.
My goal fromt he start wasnt to get Ron elected. It was to build something more. A movement with legs but alas, it has turned into what I most feared.
