Personally i'm glad bob barr has come around, although his record makes me not trust him as much as someone like Paul, i still believe he is a step in the right direction as opposed to Obama, or Mccain.

Lets be totally honest. 911 truth is polarizing and would keep any ticket from actually winning. It could gain alot of ground but it would not win. Ventura shot himself inthe foot with coming out with what he believes. I support his bravery to say those things but politically speaking, it isnt smart.
the better ticket and the only one that would work as far as ballot access would be to replace Barr as Pres and move him to VP and have a Paul/Barr ticket. THe LP will have nearly 48 to 49 states. I am not a fan of Barr but with Paul at the top of the ticket, this would earn my vote.

Ah, the real truth comes out, it's simple hatred of the truthers at bottom, PLUS complete denial. Many of us (including me) did not hold the 'inside job' view until recently, so OF COURSE we know intelligent people could still be holding on to the official view. Paul DID separate the campaign from 911 truth, and wow, look how many primaries he won! The absolute truth is, most of the Paul agenda isn't mainstream, and never was. The Revolution will be better off when we UNIFY our passions, and stop selectively calling the 'other' liberty issues non-mainstream. Stop dividing, and we will get somewhere, including getting some of us elected.

Ron Paul strengths: principled leadership, knowledge of economics that far succeeds either candidate, know how in the healthcare industries, and a Constitutional sound presidency.

Jesse Ventura strengths: proud veteran, knowledge of our armed forces, bigger than life persona, expierience in running a state govt, and a Constitutional sound Vice Presidency.

A Paul/Ventura ticket formed after the convention has a good chance of winning 35%+ of the vote! People do not like the big government Hobson's Choice of McCain or Obama and will vote for honesty and truth on the war, oil prices, economy, etc, if presented two months before the election. Win or lose it would change USA politics forever. Campaign money would be no problem. Imagine the debates that would be forced because of the soaring poll numbers.
