I might not have tipper her just for her gross earlobe stretching. How is that attractive? I do not need to see that when I'm trying to eat!

And what kind of throw caution to the wind idiot would insult their server, who is handling their food?

How long before progs are demanding tips be included in the total bill to avoid this sort of "discrimination?"

A New Jersey waitress and former Marine says she was "offended" after a customer left an anti-gay note on a check in place of a tip because she is a lesbian.

Dayna Morales, a server at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, N.J., said a family dining at the restaurant Wednesday night skipped the tip on their $93.55 bill and scribbled an explanation why.

"It says, 'I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle and how you live your life,'" Morales told ABC News station WABC-TV Thursday.

Morales, who has been waiting tables on and off for 10 years, said she never told the family she was gay when she introduced herself.

"Normal introduction, 'My name is Dayna. I'll be taking care of you.' Right away the mom looked at me and said, 'I thought you were going to say your name was Dan,'" Morales said.

After she served the family their meal without further incident, she discovered the note on the bill. Morales sent a picture of the receipt to the "Have a Gay Day" Facebook page, where it has since elicited more than 2,000 comments.

"I was rather offended, mad," Morales said of the incident. "I didn't know how to react to that. I never thought that would ever happen."

Funny how this kind of stuff becomes news. I woman gets insulted and a news agency writes a story about it. At one time though, gay meant happy.

Just like Alec Baldwin got scolded for writing a Tweet about an encounter he had with a photographer and he called him a ""c--ksucking f-g."" and some gay group (GLAAD) took offense that he used that words. Of course Baldwin apologize.

If you have a personal issue with a waitstaff then you should request another or go to a different restaurant. Allowing someone to serve your meals and top your drinks then breaking out the "I'm not leaving a tip because <insert personal baggage >" is nothing more then being a cheapskate and an asshole.

If I knew a waiter voted for Obama I wouldn't leave a tip.

I might be tempted to write on the bill

"Since you voted for Obama, you obviously don't care about my finances, why should I care about yours?"

LOL! +rep.

I agree. These are the kind of people that give Christians a bad name. Yes, homosexuality is wrong. But if it didn't affect your service, why say it then? Why should it affect their tip? Some people are just retarded.

BTW: I'm pretty sure I don't know a single Christian that would do something like that.

In the past few weeks there was the person who allegedly wrote "******" on a receipt, a person who allegedly put a fake $10 bill with Christian evangelizing on it, and now a person who allegedly hates gays.

Did anyone say "stop me if you've heard this one before"? At this point I can only assume ALL of these incidents are manufactured propaganda.

I don't doubt it.. I have known horribly bigoted religious folks.

I don't consider them Christian though.. But then I don't consider the Inquisitions "Christian",, nor the Crusades.

I'll leave an establishment if I don't care for the staff or their clientele.

Sticking around to hurl insults is a bit sophomoric.

Gay still means happy in this household! And fags are still cigarettes!

Man, they must have hated Deadwood.

Baldwin called libertarians "trash."

Win!

Oh bruddah.

That comment and unpaid tip was totally uncalled for. The restaurant should ban that family from coming back.

Dayna Morales: Thanks everyone for your support - it took very fiber of my being not to spit in their food and say something. (Not gonna lie if kids weren't there it would of been a totally different story)

On the other hand, you have to wonder if we have the full story (which we never do when it come to the media). She says "it took (e)very fiber of my being not to spit in their food". That would be long before the check. What really happened? If she was angry the entire time, did she really provide good service?

See what I mean?

I worked in restaurants for years, and if one my staff said that publicly, let alone privately to the other staff, I'd fire her ass like yesterday.

I leave a couple of these with my tips.

+rep. And personally I find the whole "tip" system silly. Sure I tip when I'm at a restuarant with a waiter/waitress because said person is likely underpaid based on the theory that the "tips" will make up for it. Why not just charge me up front enough money to pay the wait staff?

Oh...and the family in the OP is retarded. How is leaving a mean spirited comment going to get anyone to change his/her lifestyle?

Yes, indeed. But then the owner would be sued because they fired a (un)happy person.

What ever happened to 'the customer is always right' attitude?
