Black woman calls 911 for help, gets killed by white cop, and nobody cares...

Thank you for posting this. For those who will watching the shooting happens between 14 and 15 minutes. At first they are just talking. She seems a little erratic but nothing dangerous. The cops are just trying to get her full name for the report. The defendant cop tells her to take a pot off the stove so their won't be a fire. She says something I can't hear and he says "You better not or I will shoot you in the f-ing face" Then he pulls out his gun and says "Dropping the f-ing pot." The other cop pull out his gun but never fires it. The defendant cop fires twice. Not a gun. Not a knife. A "f-ing pot." SMH!

Outrageous! There is no excuse for this murder.

The bodycam footage was released this afternoon by the Sangamon county Sheriff’s Office, following an investigation by the Illinois State Police that resulted in murder charges being filed against (now former) Deputy Sean P. Grayson. Here’s my initial analysis and breakdown of the footage.

[Pinned comment @ YouTube: There are "some" cops and pro-police activists on X claiming that Sonya "threw" or "attempted to throw" the pot. This was NOT the conclusion of the Illinois State Police, as shown at the blog post link, which contains the indictment, as well as the uncensored clip of the shooting. DETAILS/Raw Clip/Indictment: https://thecivilrightslawyer.com/20...n-holding-a-pot-in-her-kitchen-fired-charged/]

Here’s the uncensored clip of the shooting:
Some cops and pro-police activists on X are claiming that the video shows Sonya Massey “throwing” the pot at the officers. In reality, the conclusion of the Illinois State Police, as well as their police expert is that it only shows Sonya raising her hands while holding the pot. It does not show the pot being thrown. Moreover, the only view available is from the non-shooter officer (who did not fire, presumably because he didn’t feel it reasonable to do so). The shooter had his bodycam off in violation of his department policy, thus we have no footage of his point-of-view.

Here’s the language from the Indictment charging the shooter, mentioned above and in the video:

Lesson learned: do not call cops.

After watching that, I repeat: Do Not Call Cops.

There is never any guarantee that things can not go sideways in a matter of seconds and leave you dead.

Massey, Crump said, was “fatally shot” in the head “in her own home — after she called 911 suspecting a break-in.”

In separate comments, Crump reportedly said that it was “extremely hard to imagine how a woman who calls the police out of fear of an intruder ends up shot in the head by the police at her own home.”

No it's not.

Just watch it yourself.

Seen it hundreds, perhaps thousands of times.

Give it time...they may still spool up the machine for this.

They are overcharging him to give him a chance to get off.

This one is not a slam-dunk by any means.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Anti Federalist again

JBT: "Ha ha keep that steaming water away from me".

Sonya: "Haa l rebuke you in the name of Jesus".

JBT: "Huh?"

Sonya: "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus".

JBT: "You better $#@!ing not or I'll shoot you in the $#@!ing face".

Sonya: "I'm sorry".

<kills her>

Seriously? That's what she said? "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus?" And then he shot her? Was this cop demon possessed or something?

Guessing his "defense" will be that he was terrified that she may throw the water/pot at him.

After telling her to move it...

I guess you're learning that despite your personal feelings, Floyd wasn't about race, or criminal cops, but merely a powerful image to engender a sought after reaction (racial strife and chaos). Apparently, that isn't convenient now...so no one will get excited.

Yeah, I saw that. We'll see what happens at the convention. Ironically much of the George Floyd Justice In Policing Act is a copy of what the DEMOCRATS FILIBUSTERED in 2020. Trump should point that out, but I doubt he will lest he offend the wing of the party that was thrilled at drunk frat boy made monkey noises at a black woman who was on campus advocating for the Palestinians. Donald Trump was pro criminal justice reform in 2018 but I never hear him talking about that now and frankly I don't blame him. As soon as 2019 came around and the election was looming, his contribution to that effort was immediately forgotten and/or dismissed.

Hello. I see you just joined May of 2024. I've been here since 2008. And long before George Floyd I knew that BLM was more a political movement than a civil rights movement. That said there are racist cops and there are criminal cops. And there are also white criminal cops who kill white people and black criminal cops who kill black people. And sometimes the cops get criticized for doing the right thing like the cop who shot Makaya Bryant seconds before she could stab another black woman. (And in my opinion that story ended BLM as a movement that could garner mass protests).

One more thing. I'm seeing racist and/or copsucker whites on X trying to defend the cop that murdered the woman over a pot. I kid you not. "She was manic" and "She couldn't explain the SUV in her driveway" as if that somehow justifies killing a woman who's holding a freaking pot. If you're a grown ass man and you're scared of a woman holding a pot, you have no business being a police officer.

It was during the Covid-19 plandemic when we learned that most PhDs are as intelligent as chimpanzees.

As a result, PhDs are no longer permitted to refer to themselves as "Doctors".

It's also painfully clear that Mr. Grande inserts gerbils up his butt.

That having been said, I did watch the entire video, he was somehow able to keep my attention.

I thought he presented a good summary.

But I would disagree with his view on the mental illness aspect.

It's the cop who's fucking insane.
