Isn't it curious how, once again, we have a clear-cut case of murder by the police against a POC.
However, this one does not have the blowback of St. George of Fentanyl or Michael Brown, and others.
It is almost as if the chaos directors intentionally choose ambiguous cases to maximize the polarizing racial rift without critical analysis.
This case is about as bad as a case can get and deserves people in the streets of Springfield, IL and the Sangamon County Sheriffs Department scared about their personal and professional futures.

Thanks! I was just about to post this. I respect Nate The Lawyer, but I think he got this one wrong. Even with the second body cam footage it's difficult to justify the shooting. She had already put the pot down when he came around this counter. She finally threw the water at him because she was scared for her life and didn't see any other options. If he walks then the law needs to seriously be changed.
I don't know what I was expecting from Trump on this issue, but I guess this is exactly what I expected.
MAGA
I don't think Nate would disagree that "the law is an ass".
He certainly gave the cop a good dragging. at any rate - so I don't think he's letting his sympathies override his critical analysis.
Nate identifies what is probably the best "angle of approach" this cop's lawyers can take.
And who knows? It might actually work. I guess it's going to depend on what the jury thinks.
Go to 4:03 to skip the initial chit-chat.

Special guest Scott Savage joins us to discuss the Sonya Massey shooting and the background of the deputy who shot her.
After watching that, I repeat: Do Not Call Cops.
There is never any guarantee that things can not go sideways in a matter of seconds and leave you dead.
No it's not.
Just watch it yourself.
Seen it hundreds, perhaps thousands of times.
Give it time...they may still spool up the machine for this.
