I dont think Rand would've done any better if he remained in the race and if Cruz was out.

People are just pissed off and angry. Shouldn't just blow off people's anger. It seems people are mad with the border and mad with political correctness.

I think it's the accumulated lies too. GOP swore up and down they would defund Obamacare. Secure the border. Reduce the Debt. People gave them both houses and they proceeded to do the opposite. Then add in the independents who seemingly want to burn the whole place down to the ground, because they see the system for what it is.

Holy Crap! It's Clayton Bigsby!

A very good point. "Some Men Just Want to Watch The World Burn" in the sense of getting rid of the OLD world. They want a better world or system, to replace the current one. The trend suggests if there's something they are "for," it's the populism and nationalism articulated by Buchanan.

This dynamic could have been championed in a liberty framework by Rand Paul, but unfortunately he chose to present as doing it from within the current system, which ultimately meant staying within its non-liberty framework. Sometimes you have to recognize that the round table is broken, or should be, and then go out and get a new table.

Trump is like Deadpool. Antihero.

People don't seem to get that. Twitter is full of pseudo-intellectuals whining, "People who like Trump are stupid!" As if any of those empty suits up there have a well thought out ethos. It's really pathetic.

The removal of Rand from this race makes everyone an intellectual equal. But Trump is more clever, and likeable. And his over the top braggodocious delivery, is so over the top, it's like he's making fun of himself, which in a way paints him as more humble than all the others who take themselves too seriously. He isn't afraid to be made fun of.

Anyway, he's an antihero. He doesn't have to be morally perfect. His platform is "we're gonna fuck some shit up". Everyone else's platform is "the shit that everyone wants to fuck up".

Delegate shenanigans seems the only thing that'll stop him. And THAT I believe, truly would be the end of the GOP. But like Syria, I dare say it's going to end either way.

Cruz is slowing Cruzing past Rubiobot.... lol I hope Robot gets 3rd just to show it to those establishment endorsements.

I cant stand Cruz, but I want Rubio to be third just because the news cycle is the only thing keeping him relevant.. Looks like it will be within 1%~ and it could go either way.

Yeah.. pretty much a lot of pissed off people. Boy, they are going to be pissed when they find out Trump isnt going to do any or most of what he says lol. I guess people are banking on the possibility he would but I think most of us here probably knows itll just be business as usual.

I would probably vote for Cruz if he didn't fuck Rand over and co-opted everything.

The Snake finished farther behind The Robot than he did in SC . . . though Teduardo won the rattlesnake vote in a couple desert counties . . .
both get five delegates . . . which may be bound under all the new rules of this RNC-sponsored election.

Ted gonna have a rough night...

Cruz won the "Area 51" vote !
(the Extraterrestial Highway/Groom Lake region of the state) of Lincoln County . . .
Cruz 127 to Trump 60 votes

Ted Cruz appropriately gets the "alien" vote.

All this talk about the end of the 2 party system is silly. We all know the elites control both sides. They may get "ousted" from the GOP for now, but they'll regroup, rebrand and deceive all over again. Every 30-40 years there is a realignment of political parties. The last time around was in the 60s-70s when the south went Republican and the northwest went Democrat. It remains to be seen how the new alignment shakes out.
