Middle-class fleeing California invasion.

it is unconstitutional. congress doesn't have the power to regulate immigration. it can only determine how they are naturalized.
this was already discussed in this thread.
You have no rights over me. I have no king above me. period. don't even think about lording over me. we have a problem at that point.

Your trolling then.
American Citizens are being deprived of jobs due to illegal immigrants and American businesses suffer due to those businesses that do not follow the law and because immigrants do not follow the laws on the books regarding legally entering and becoming a U. S. citizen and participating in our work force.

Don't Lord over the Feudal lord?
Hast I offended the bottom line Sire?
Leavest mine Feudal Peasants alone?

Lolz.
Time will tell.

if the government creates any law the abridges any of your natural rights, it is your duty to stop it.
we have a government to protect our rights, not tell us what they are-

funny how the mexicans here do move on to making more money and integrated into our society. Spains flag once flown over this state, we have spanish speaking natives. this is a home we share with many. we aren't xenophobic here.
do you not see what you are saying?

Get busy then and stop trying to recruit me.
You're the one breaking this old ass law not me.
I play by the rules as they have always been.

the mexicans have been with us in this state since before we were a state. their families are welcomed here and it is their god given right to live where they want on this earth. how can you pretend you have the right to tell someone where they can't live. that makes no sense.

How bizarre.
You would hire them for less than minimum wage and put them up in a shack.. /Cough (Indentured Servitude) and then complain about how they are treated.

the only person who starts out on top is a well digger.

my ancestors were indentured servants, then they became share croppers. they saved- they bought those farms and today we are prosperous.
The mexicans aren't stuck- those who strive for more do achieve more.

edit: you do notice- we aren't kidnapping these people and bringing them here in chains- they come to us- facing great dangers to get here. they want something more- and many do get more and their children are better off for it. The children are the ones who leave the farms and become something they never could have been in mexico.

Well then it seems you've wandered into the wrong discussion as they would all likely be U.S. Citizens if that is the case.
What are you arguing about or rather for?
Indentured Servitude?
Wrong discussion.

the only other argument is they are a drain on our welfare state. i don't know any mexicans on welfare. they keep to themselves. they do what they are told. they produce longer hour work days.
where is the problem?

Ditto. Also I live in California - the states has its issues (they all do). But there are plenty of people of all races here and we generally get along well. BTW you can also thank "immigrants" for about half the technology you use today that was invented in the US. Indians (from India) and Asians being only a few percentage points of the US population have a huge impact on our tech sector. Google, Apple, Facebook, Cisco - all more than half Asian and Indian. SRI (where the internet was created, despite Al Gore's claims) - same thing. Who knows if we'd have the internet if not for these people.

I can top that.
My Grandfather was a share cropper.
Don't have to back to my ancestors, my Grandfather and Grandmother both drug many a sack down many a row.
We have machines to do that now though.

this is the same way my ancestors came to this country.

yup, machines that require a low waged worker to guide it through the fields.
most of the children of the farmers have moved on to other professions.
The production of those machines are so good that we don't need as many farmers either. so you have fewer farmers with a low wage staff pushing machines around a field.
that is the system derived to best suite the nature of the technology.

Right, they are running from a corrupt government in order to enter our country and corrupt our work force, leaving many legal blue collar workers out in the cold. You're essentially for bringing the third world to us rather than working to help them better themselves.
Right, it's not indentured Servitude if they ask for it and they only deserve what they are used to or what they ask for, got ya.
OK Brent, I gotta go for awhile but I will try to check back here and get you to refute my posts and counterpoints to your points.
I don't think you can though but you sure as hell build a nice strawman while avoiding the subject of the discussion.

if we automate farms 100% then food would cost almost nothing.
right now we still need to guide the equipment- so low wage workers keep the food cost cheap.

blue collar workers want to drive tractors all day? i never knew-

oh- if you can operate a combine, i can get you a job for $5/hr. best part- its tax free money. ;) honest work. sunup til sundown. i've thought about doing it myself- but then i remember what it was like when I was a kid- and that usually fixes me up.

blue collar workers here are usually in the oil field making at least $2000 a week. not many of them fighting for the tractor job.
