I would recommend looking at that chart a little more closely. Currently, the majority of people think that the government is too big and should be smaller, providing less services. If we keep importing large groups of people, the vast majority of whom want socialism, what is to say that we still have a Republic in 20 years?

We don't have a Republic today. Not, at least, in any regards to the CONstitution. Notice it reads "General Population." Hispanics only make up 17% of that. So if you take the 41% of the general population minus the roughly 13% of Hispanics that want socialism what do you get? Well over a quarter of the population of non-Hispanics that want socialism. BoobU.S. loves it some government. Just accept that fact. White, Black, Hispanic. Dems and Reps. Different reasons. Social welfare or Global warfare. Doesn't matter.

Importing? Actually paying to bring them in? They come of their own accord. They do so because opportunity is better here, regardless of government services. Notice that by the third generation the numbers dip. That is because they have become established and a part of the system. The total truth of the matter, and I think you know it, is because there has been a dumbing down of the general population, a destruction of the middle-class, and an indoctrination that everyone else has your back so there is no need to feed yourself. In a Republic, with true limitations on government, this should not be a worry.

So what I would want to know is what questions are they asking these people. This is the same sort of polls they do here, where most people say that they want more government, but when they get polled and asked different questions differently they say that they want government to be smaller. Most of time first generational immigrants do not know the language so do they even understand the polling questions??

By the third generation they know English so I would want to know if people who are 3rd generation are more likely to support a smaller government policy. I don't think polling can really answer these questions because there is too much room and incentive to fudge the polling to create a statistic that matches your argument.

Immigration is a government program.. and I have actually seen figures that show that second and third generation immigrants are even more likely to vote for the left than first.
