If all goes to hell....let's screw the Republicans!

Ok 50% of the Democrat base won't vote for Hillary and the conservative wing of the Republicans won't vote for McCain. So if I've done my math that leaves 50% of the Dems voting for Hillary, the disenfranchised Conservatives going for a third party and 50% of disenfranchised Democrats going for a third party. So if Ron Paul ran 3rd party, he would pick up the Libertarian vote, could steal the majority of the disenfranchised voters and win the popular vote but be screwed out of the presidency by the electoral college. Thats when the majority of Americans should march on Washington and refused to allow the new president to be sworn in until they announce Ron Paul is the new president.

and we want HillOBubbama over the republicans for what reason?

You don't get it.
They're ALL THE SAME.

We don't want EITHER.
Hucklberry and McCain are just as DANGEROUS as Hillobama.

There are no parties. It's the philosophy of freedom vs. the philosophy of tyranny. I'm voting RON PAUL for freedom next week, and will worry about what's next after that.

Exactly, the two-parties suck ass, but third parties don't win, so you have to play the game like Dr. Paul and keep to your principles. The republicans have strayed away from their traditional principles of limited government, individual liberty and peace and so have the democrats, straying away from their founder's (Thomas Jefferson) belief of limited government, individual liberty and peace.

Remember guys, the primaries aren't worth much at this point. This will be a brokered convention, with many many delegates up for grabs. Paul's momentum is BUILDING. there's nothing to suggest that he's even remotely "peaked" yet.

It's clear that none of you have any idea what socialism is if you think the Dems are socialist.

haha, this is true. it's funny that kucinich and gravel are probably the most socialist(also the most libertarian of the democrats as well, oddly enough).

I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. I usually vote third party anyway. It's my way of protesting bi-partisan politics. This year, I'll write in Ron Paul, even if he's not on the balllot.

If the economy is going downhill, may as well have a Democrat in office and let them deal with it. Of course they will do what they always do: blame the market and propose more government and higher taxes.

Alex...dude well said

I have been hearing this in these forums but never pointed it out ....thanks

Ron Paul did not plan on winning Florida. If you read his last letter Florida is a winner take all state and we need delegates. We need to focus on where we can get delagates to the national convention.

You know what I am talking about!

these are the threads the MSM will parade in front of the wide screen Tv's of voters when crunch time comes.

Look here voters, these Ron Paul voters will cut and run from the Republican party.

I would keep the option of not voting or voting Democratic private.

If Ron Paul does not get the nomination you can either vote for a closet socialist (Republican) or a closet communist (Democrat) the choice is yours. By the way a vote for a third party falls in column B- communist. Vote as if your life might depend on it, because it just might. Sweet dreams children.

Not voting is for retards. Voting Democrat to spite the Republicans, they won't know anything other than they lost, you are buying into the false left/right paradigm.

Either I'm writing RP in or voting Leibertarian. We need to coordinate which one though....

I don't think socialism is bad - libertarianism is just far better (too bad there are no real socialists in the Dem party, Kucinich was the best). Neoconservatism is pure evil though. I wouldn't vote for any of those chuckleheads in the GOP with a gun to my head.

I might throw a vote to Obama if it comes down to it. Maybe I'll vote for the LP candidate. Dunno. All's I know is that the GOP will likely never see another vote from me in my lifetime, at least not with the candidates they throw out there.
