Its a public show of support. ES has probably inspired many to come to these forums for the first time, and I think its good that new visitors know we are as inspired by his actions as they are.

There is more to do, for sure.... but currently I'm more concerned for Ed's immediate safety, and Im not sure if theres a lot we can do about that at this point

Back during the Vietnam war, I remember that there was a lot of people that wore POW bracelets. As a matter of fact it was a huge thing in the late 60's and early 70's. It would be really awesome if we could come up with a Ed Snowden "Hero" bracelet that we could sell and help finance his legal bills. It would be an identifier to other Snowden supporters and a conversation starter to open a dialouge with the people that don't have a clue...Just a thought.

check out the avatar thread and join us in showing some solidarity behind this man. I think the fact that he's donated to Ron Paul and has probably visited these forums and possible even been chewed out by someone here gives those of us who've been around a sense of pride and possibly even a coming of age moment.

I know I am watching closely for more people to step up and take action like this man did. I believe so many here are looking to put the ideas of freedom and liberty and those principles we learned from Ron Paul in to action.

The best part about RPF is it's a slice of the broader movement that is full of some of the best people you will ever come to know. It's a large and diffuse support group that does an amazing job of getting to the heart of matters. It is also a broad coalition of people from around the world that I believe support each other through thick and thin.

Hope you find a home here. Welcome, and next time someone tells you that you sat on your ass, just laugh and remind them that it's not as bad as doing a face plant into someone else's
